(private to taichi yagami)

[Koushirou is between looking at the computer to the D-Terminal as the feed continues. Typing in a few keys he pauses.]

The reading appears to be coming from somewhere nearby.  There seems to be a lot of spikes of energy from my side-- what are you seeing?

Looks like a bunch of colors.

[Taichi scans the area with a frown.]

Yeah, that's it. I checked Primary Village on the way here, but everything looks normal.

Hang on. Let me back up a little.

[Taichi's face is replaced by a view of what looks like a thin strip of colored light, about twenty feet high.]

Kind of looks like the light we saw when we got dropped into the Digital World the first time, doesn't it. You think it leads somewhere?

[What's that? "Go ahead, Taichi?" Even if that isn't what Koushirou says, Taichi moves closer to the light.

And sticks his hand right in.]

Huh. Guess you can go through after all.

Oh, come on, Koushirou. Look, it's fine!

[He pulls his hand out and flexes it in front of the D-Terminal so his friend can stop panicking.]

It didn't even hurt or anything.

One's easy enough to find out. I can pop in there real quick and take a look around. Then we'll know!

[Before Koushirou can even open his mouth, Taichi jumps in again.]

Doooon't worry, I won't wander in too far. Besides, I'll have Agumon with me. Better if one of us goes in first instead of one of the new kids, right?

[Not that...some of them can really be called "kids".]
