Yeah. I'm on my way.

[And she's gone, headed to the cafe.]

[Yang is dressed, cleaned, and out of the hospital/resident area in less than a minute. The girl had perfected quick ready times when she needed to be on the move fast. She arrives at the cafe another minute or two later since it IS just right there. This certainly is a much smaller area to deal with than the previous city she'd been living in.

Yang looks around and spots Blake easily enough, making a beeline for her. She wants to keep her typical bubbly attitude so instead of immediately jumping to 'Where's Ruby' or 'Is this about Ruby' Yang says]

Heya Blake.

[Sitting at a table in the cafe, Blake stands as soon as she sees Yang enter, and she crosses the distance to meet her as she comes over.]

Hey Yang. [She can tell the girl is trying to remain positive, but it's only a matter of time. However, she can at least keep from jumping right into it, at least not until Yang chose to be ready.] How are you?

Oh I'm fine. But I think I slept through breakfast.

[She looks back over her shoulder as her partners come trailing in.]

Hey guys! Why don't you go grab us some food. Blake and I will be just over here.

[She had seen where Blake had grabbed a seat and gestures towards it. If her partners pick up on any strnageness they don't show it. As soon as they're out of ear shot getting menus and stuff Yang looks back to Blake, her smile dropping a bit.]

She's...gone isn't she?

[Blake turned, glancing back toward the spot she left. At that look her Gabumon slid out of her chair and walked over to join Yang's partners; more hands could always help, right?

Turning back to her teammate, Blake paused a moment and then nodded.]

Yeah... So far as I was able to tell, she went back home.

[What could she possibly say? She wasn't sure- family issues just weren't her forte. But she had to at least try, right?]

Yang.. listen...

[Yang pulls her hair, her fingers playing with the long blonde strands that seem to be impervious to tangles. She looks up at the ceiling before sighing and letting her eyes fall back on Blake.]

No...it's fine. I knew it was a possibility from what I'd heard from others. People come and go here. Just the way things are.

[Yang shrugs, letting her hair fall back. She shifts.] Besides, I got here before both of you guys, remember? We're not exactly attached at the hip or anything like that. Guess I'm just sad I didn't really get the chance to have some more fun with her here in the digital world.

[Blake listened in silence, watching her friend carefully. After a few moments, she had a reply.]

There's always the chance she could come back. Someone else told me it happens sometimes- a person will disappear from here and then return at a later date.

[Did she personally think it would happen? Blake would remain skeptical about that, but they had to entertain the possibility.]

True.

[Yang takes a breath and smiles. It's smaller than before, but it's back. Yang can never be down for long.]

Maybe she'll even manage to drag Weiss in this time. It would be those to that show up last.

[It wouldn't surprise if they came in at the worst possible time either...like how their trial in the woods had gone.]

But, I'm not going to worry about it. It's probably about time the tables were turned. Usually I'm the one leaving Ruby behind.

[BY was here, so it would be fitting for RW to show up together. And, well-]

Fashionably late, of course.

[There's a lighter tone in her voice, willing to at least make the best of this situation.]

At least she's safe. And none of us knew you'd left at all, so it's likely that when we go back home, it won't be like any time's passed at all.

[Nothing lost. Well, nothing but time spent hanging out here, but that can be set aside for now.]

Which is still weird by the way...but at least we don't have to worry about falling behind at Beacon or anything.

[When she'd heard that it had been hard to believe, though others she had spoken to had confirmed that it seemed to be common that no time passed while they were here. It was one of many things she'd filed away under 'deal with later.']
