[Blake is silent for a few moments, clearly thinking. Then she sighs lightly, having made up her mind.
This was a sore spot, but... this Chosen was clearly not from her own world. She wouldn't have certain preconceived notions, and Blake felt a little freer talking in this one than she did at home.
It was almost nice.]
In a way. When I was younger I was involved in... some political trouble, growing up in part of a resistance movement. It was rough, and though I wouldn't say I was friendless, you never knew who would be there the next day.
Eventually the group turned violent so, I left. The other members of Team RWBY- Ruby, a girl named Weiss, and Yang -as well as others I've met since arriving at the school we were at, have all become a.. cherished group of real friends.

I'm going to miss her. [At least until she managed to go home too.]
[Blake looks at Fluttershy for a long moment, as if trying to judge her through the D-Terminal.
Then she stood up and walked out of frame, and a few moments later a door somewhere off-screen is heard to shut, clicking into place. She sits back down, looking back wight the lightest of sighs, and reaches up to grasp the loose ends of her bow.
Pulling it to either side the black ribbon fell away, revealing a pair of deep purple cat ears, almost lost in the black of her hair. Her eyes looked almost sad before she closed them, turning her head away slightly.]
[She felt a bit guilty for asking to see them, especially seeing the other's reaction to it. But seeing the ears, she couldn't help smiling just a bit.]
They're cute...
[Maybe not the best thing to say...but she means it.]
[A ghosting smile and then she sighed lightly, looking back.] They mark me as being a Faunus, back home... Faunus are people with different animal traits, and are looked down upon by humans.
[As she spoke, she began tying the bow back into place.]
The White Fang is the resistance group I spoke of. It's made up of Faunus that fight for better, proper treatment. It used to be peaceful... until a new leader rose up, and everything changed.
Racial tensions, for the most part. Humans once tried to restrict Faunus to a certain part of the world, and a war erupted when we tried to gain rights and freedom. Though Faunus can live wherever we want, we're unfortunately still discriminated against.
Most think of us as second-class citizens at best.
But that's why I left the more militaristic White Fang, and why I applied for Beacon Academy. So I could do some good in the world, and learn to fight the soulless monsters that populate it, rather than...

Was...she one of your...first friends?

I'm glad you have friends now though.
[Then the more she looks at her, the more past words float back.]
...You're Fluttershy, aren't you?
What was that...?]
Y...Y-Yes, I am...
Your Digimon told me about you, when I first addressed the other Chosen on the network. A shy, kind pegasus.

She tries to let it go, but eventually she can't help it.]
U-Um...I...I hope you don't mind me asking, but...

Yes?

At least, until.]
Yes.

[She's worked with enough animals to recognize twitching ears when she sees it.]
M...May I see...? I-I mean...you don't have to show me, if you'd rather not...

[That sounded so sad.]
Why...are the Faunus looked so down upon?

Fight each other.

[Despite her words there's a softening to the edges of her expression.]

You are quite kind, you know that?
