[This distressing scene opens up on Roadbuster who's holding the communicator shakily and trying to keep calm...pretty hard with everything that's happening right now.
He looks extremely distressed. In the background there's the sound of smashing objects, the room being horribly trashed. Thank god there was no one else living there.]
Aaaah guys help! Duke and Leatherhead talked and then he saw something and then he sorta laid down for awhile and then his eyes went funky and now...now he's tearing the room apart!!!
[Ok Roadbuster, keep it together, Leatherhead can't be that angry--oh no wait that roar definitely meant something was up. Ok he's back to shaky mode.]
I dunno what to do, guys! Duke's not here and--
[He gives his own panicked yell just because of the sheer amounts of overwhelming he's feeling.]
[Action]
The only reason Bee's able to think so quickly is because he's used to being in these types of situations. He's careful to make sure Leatherhead has a clear path- no sense in having him injure himself further if he crashes into anything. He'll try and sidestep that as fast as he can, but Leatherhead's quick. Hopefully he can react in time.]
You're going to hurt yourself, and you're scaring your partners.
[Action]
Leatherhead manages to miss Bee, only to growl in frustration. He throws a punch at the door frame. He's just aching to rumble.]
[Action]
Vanguard. Wait outside.
Bee-
[He doesn't let his eyes off of Leatherhead, but his voice is a command. Not a request.] Do it.
[He lowers into a stance, hands not quite clenched into a fist, but ready to move at any second.]
This really what you want, Leatherhead?
[Is this what he needs? If Optimus were here, he could probably talk him down in a few perfectly chosen sentences. Bring him down from his anger without violence. But he's not Optimus. And he's not here to ask.]
[Action]
He wanted to hold Mikey so bad...and it hurt. It was a hurt that he couldn't place...
The big teen narrowed his eyes at the Autobot, clenching his fists.]
I want it to stop...
[Action]
[Talk to him, Leatherhead. He knows it's because Mikey is gone, but it's not the time to keep it all bottled in.
He remains in his stance, but he won't make the first move. That, he'll let Leatherhead do. It's what he's here for. If Leatherhead is going to dish out punishment, it's going to be at Bee, and not any of his belongings or the apartment. That's a fast track to injuring himself or someone else on accident, and Bee doesn't want that on the other teen's conscience.]
[Action]
[Were he sober, there'd be a lot of regret running through him right now. But at the moment? The strong drive to catharsis overpowers reason. His fist swings at Bee once more, teeth nearly biting into each other.]
[Action]
Because of Mikey.
[Because he's gone.]
[Action]
Michelangelo...
[Action]
That's right.
Your first...
And your most important friend.
[Action]
[His eyes look like they're turning wet. He doesn't know what he's supposed to do, Bee...all he can do is throw more punches.]
[Action]
It's hard to talk with the new onslaught of punches, hit after hit.]
You miss him. You want him back. Because when he's gone, everything you do hurts.
[One blow has him staggering back. More hits are blocked. And then a glancing blow across his cheek, which he takes a second to recover from.]
[Action]
I do not...do not know what to do...
[Action]
The reason why it hurts so much ... Is that he mattered to you. Like you mattered to him.
All you can do is... [He reaches out to Leatherhead, cautiously and slowly at first. Bee's hands will rest on Leatherhead's shoulder, if the other lets him.] remember. Remember everything good about him, and being with him.
You take it one step at a time.
[Action]
[He's too emotionally worn out to really fight it. So the hands can stay.]
Where do I start...
I had so much I wished to do with him...
[Action]
[One way? Was to talk it out.
Come on, Leatherhead. The bed's as good a place to sit as any. If he can lead the other to it he will, but either way, he'll remain standing in front of him.
Bee won't patronize him and tell him it'll hurt any less tomorrow. Or the day after. But Leatherhead will get better at getting by.]
Tell me. About what you wanted to do.
[Action]
But he hurt Bee...he owed the Autobot that much.]
I wanted to go to San Francisco...take Michelangelo there...
We never saw a city...outside of New York.
[Action]
New York... Is that where the two of you lived?
[Action]
[And now he's back there again.]
But I do not think we shall meet again...
[Action]
But there's a chance you could see him when you go home again, isn't there? When the digital world is fixed?
[Action]
[Action]
You're alive too.
As it stands, that means that one day, you could see each other again.
Sounds like a chance to me.
[Action]
[Action]
Well you both found each other here, didn't you?
