Goggles 04 | Video/Action for Hospitown

(The screen turns on to show some dough and what appeared to be a kitchen of some sorts before pulling back to fully show Takato, wearing his usual set of clothes but he also had on an apron, a hat and some flour on his left cheek. His trademark goggles weren't visible, but if one looked hard enough they would be seen behind him, light glinting off the lenses.)

...Is it on? Hehe, guess it is. Hi, everyone! Look, I know it's a week early but I just wanted to tell everyone who might not know about a special holiday that's coming up next Friday. It's, well...it's different in certain parts of the world, but the general theme's the same: it's called Valentine's Day and it's for two people to spend time together and admit how they feel for each other. In America people celebrate it by giving each other candy or cards or other stuff.

Back where I live, in Japan...it's different. Like, really different. Girls give special kinds of chocolate to boys who they like or just consider a friend. (Takato's tone goes solemn at this explanation but he brightens up a little.) But, that doesn't mean us guys don't have to do anything; we reciprocate how we feel on March 14th, or White Day. We give chocolate back to the girl we like or think of as friends, too.

Anyway, I probably won't celebrate this year but to anyone who might want to I'll be making special kinds of bread starting next Thursday and give it out until the weekend. They might be heart-shaped, shaped like Digimon's heads, whatever you'd like! Thanks for listening.

(Takato signs off by smiling once before the screen goes black.)

Indeed! It is a holiday in which you are to give people you care about cards or small gifts, and if you have a special somepony that you love then you typically spend the day with them being most romantic!

First it was this so called "Christmas" and now "Valentines" Just how many of our holidays have you humans stolen?

Uh...it's supposed to be for the one you truly love but in your case, I'd say 'all of them' would be best.

[Part of him's extremely greatful this transmission came from a male. Letting any lady (aside from the rather fetching HospiTown nurse digimon!) know he's injured is out of the question. So. He's just going to regard Takato's wince with disinterest. He'd shrug, if he could. But he can't.]

...Excellent! My good man, I'll take all the bread you can make. I'll not allow a single lady in this town to feel left out this Valentine's day.

[Well, Takato isn't the only one coated in flour. Seems that Guilmon's gotten a bit too ambitious in trying to help, and now his face is pasty white from the flour.

He sneezes some of it off and rubs at his face, but now he looks like a strange mess of white blotches over red scales.]

Hmmm, do you think any girls will give you chocolates, Takato?

(Takato blinks in surprise at Guilmon while putting away the Terminal, giving it some thought while smiling sheepishly.)

Heh, if any of them do they'll just be friends like Kit, Katou-san and maybe a couple others. Pretty sure I haven't been here long enough for anyone to have any feelings for me, but that's okay.

I don't know, Takato. Guilmon's sure there's lots of people who'd feel that way!

[He nods his head, grinning from ear to ear.]

Because you're Takato, and that makes you special.

[There's the sound of groans behind her. She blinks, looks over her shoulder, and then realizes her pun and laughs.]

What I mean is, that's a nice gesture and sounds pretty tasty. I wouldn't mind getting some. I have some friends that could probably use a treat.

(Takato's face is pretty red at the compliment, rubbing the back of his head for a moment.)

Okay...! Do you know what shape they should be, or would you like regular shaped bread?

I need a Bearmon shape, Armadillomon, and do you think you can do a cat shape too? I know it's not a Digimon...but I've got a friend in mind that likes cats.
