I had to book passage on another boat so I should be back in Hospitown by Monday, then I'm going to start investigating. If anyone else is interested I'll take whatever help I can get. But don't expect to be paid unless whoever we're going to rescue feels like we've earned it.

...You didn't see Kovu around much, did you? We were out in the forest, back before Venusmon showed up, on Terminal Island, and he got hurt. He's scarred. It means something to him. Something personal and...he was really upset. He almost didn't want to leave when...everyone was evacuating.

I had to keep a close eye on him. I'm still a little worried, but he's in much higher spirits now...and I don't want to do anything to upset him.
