[Despite another weeks worth of whispers and rumors being spread about Trixie, as well as reports of her stealing things, breaking peoples things and randomly kissing people, Trixie is in good spirits come the holiday]

Happy Hearts and Hooves day all you peculiar creatures.

If you are feeling heartbroken by being separated from those you love on this special day, Trixie and her partner are willing to offer comforting hugs and demonstrating our first batch of home made fire works this evening outside the cafe.

As for Rainbow Dash and Wilykit, Trixie has gifts for you. Report to her cart outside the Cafe post haste.

...and if anyone can find Fluttershy send her Trixie's way as well. She has been missing for days.

[Anyone who wants a hug, or wants to yell at Trixie for some awful prank that she may have pulled on you earlier in the week she'll be lingering outside the Cafe in Hospitown in front of her almost completed entertainment and travel cart. While she waits she is pouring powder into small canisters, making bombs of some sort it looks like]

[Kit doesn't have any idea what hearts and Hooves Day is, but one thing comes through loud and clear.]

A present for me? What kind of present?

Well perhaps Wilykit should come and collect her present to find out.

[Smirk]

While Trixie is not in the habit of giving things away for free but you have earned it.

OK! I'll be down in a minute!

[Kit cuts the link on here end and races downstairs, leaping several of the landings to make better time. Soon, she emerges from the hospital doors and hurries over to the cafe to meet Trixie. She's slightly out of breath when she gets there.]

Hi, Trixie! I'm here. What's the present?

[she smiles and produces an empty plate. She covers it with a silk scarf and when she whips it off again there is a sweet bread shaped like her Flupe]

Ta Da!

[Kit is a bit confused for a moment when Trixie first shows her an empty plat. Until, that is, she covered it with the scarf, and Kit realized what the trick was going to be. She waited the few moments Trixie used to create a bit of anticipation, and then...]

Yay! It looks great. Thanks, Trixie!

[Because food is always a good present. Especially tasty food. Meanwhile, I hope you like hugs, Trixie, Cause Kit sure is giving you a nice thank you hug now (while being careful not to cause you to drop the plate).]

[Trixie stiffens at the hug but after a moment relaxes into it. Clearly she's not used to hugs. But she is enjoying this one]

Well, Trixie doesn't have many friends. And Wilykit was a respectful understudy and performed well in her show. So Trixie felt she deserved a gift to show Trixie enjoys and appreciates you.

[And so she should. If Kit notices the momentary stiffening, she makes no indication of it, just continuing the hug for a few moments after Trixie relaxes.]

Well, I'm glad I can be one of your friends, then. Everybody should have some, I think.

[She frowns slightly, though, as she realizes something and looks up at Trixie.]

I didn't get you anything, though...

[A warm smile]

Trixie requires nothing but your friendship on this day.

It's not as if you were expecting it.

OK. I'll just get you something a little later on then.

I know I don't have to, but... I like being able to give people presents. We never had much money for presents and things back home, so here is the first place I've really been able to.

Ah, Trixie understands.

And there is a sort of thrill to it she supposes. Especially knowing the gift is appreciated.

Trixie normally only ever gave gifts to herself.

[Kit looks a little confused.]

Well, if you get it for yourself, then how is it a gift? I thought a gift was something you got for somebody else.

[She chuckles and wags her finger admonishingly]

You can reward yourself if you feel you so deserve it, and thus it becomes a gift, from you to yourself.

[Thus the flawless logic of Trixie]

Ah, OK. I guess that makes sense.

[She personally wouldn't apply the word 'gift' to it, though, but realizes that it's really just arguing semantics.]

We couldn't really do that most of the time, either though. Though the one time we went with Papa to take the crops to market, he gave us each a shinnig and said we could do whatever we wanted with it. That was the first time I'd ever had any money that was actually mine, and that I could do what I wanted with it. My brother and I wound up putting them together and getting a big, sticky honey cake to share with Papa.

So I guess that was a gift for everybody!

Sometimes Trixie thinks you may be too pure of heart for your own good.

[Chuckle]

That is a very sweet story, in more then one way.

[More laughs, see what she did there? DO YOU SEE?!]

Trixie has always been much more selfish, but she hit her lowest point and since then has been trying to do better. This world has helped in that to some degree.

(Summon Rainbow Dash? She'll arrive -eventually- with a confused look on her face and two Digimon in tow.)

...Any reason why you're parked outside the Café, Trixie?

[A proud smirk, her favorite kind]

Because Rainbow Dash! It is the most popular location for hanging out in Hospitown and it was the most likely way for Trixie to locate you.

[She produces an empty plate showing it to Rainbow Dash, throwing a blue scarf over it and then sharply drawing it away. Suddenly the plate has lightning bolt shaped loaf of sweet bread]

(She would've debated further, but any responses died on her tongue as she saw the lightning bolt-shaped loaf on a plate. She picks it up and sniffs it for a moment; it smells good, but all bread does at first!)

Ha, thanks Trixie. It looks really good.

What else is there to do in this two bit town?

[The Cafe, the shop and the hospital, that was about it really. She smirks smug and proud at Rainbow's expression.]

Trixie had it made especially for Rainbow Dash as another symbol of her gratitude for Rainbow Dash's friendship. Though this day is typically about celebrating a special somepony...well Trixie is the most special somepony here. But to Trixie Rainbow Dash is special as well. Maybe not AS special but special. Much more special then most of the chosen.

Ha, thanks Trixie. You're awesome, too.

(A beat.) In a showpony kind of way.

But of course!

Now Trixie can't be sure, but she has heard such bread tastes wonderful while it is warm with ice cream on it. If Rainbowdash is so inclined Trixie would be happy to follow you inside and see the results.

Really? Sure; let's go 'see the results.'

(And off they go! She makes sure to take a few bites of the bread first, though.)
