(As promised, on the 13th Takato made his first few batches of bread as per the orders most of the people requested -specifically, the larger orders that had been requested. Where was Guilmon? Probably somewhere around. Today however, the screen shows him back at the same area he'd been at last week with apron on, but not the hat -or the flour.)

Hi, everyone! Happy Valentine's Day -or Hearts & Hooves Day- to everyone who celebrates and doesn't celebrate the holiday. If you requested some bread shaped in some way, or with a particular Digimon's face, I made some batches yesterday and made sure they stayed fresh even though they're a day old. Newer ones are being made right now, so come on over!

I'm on F5, Room 008 or if you'd prefer not to go that high up I'll try and send Guilmon down to the first floor so you can pick up your orders. It's okay if you didn't get to order last week; I'll still bake bread for anyone who wants it!

(Much like the time he made the initial offer, Takato signs off with a smile but holds up a heart-shaped loaf of bread!)

Ha, no problem! (Takato turns toward Jinora, suddenly feeling...emotions he didn't think he'd feel again.

He's getting nervous.)

Ahhh...I-I'm glad you enjoyed your Valentine's present...if you wanna make sure it lasts a few days, I can wrap it b-back up for you...

[He's not the only one. Jinora ducks her head to hide a smile, blushing.]

Sure, that'd be great. Thank you Takato.

(Glancing away for a moment, Takato quickly wraps the loaves up before handing them to Jinora; as his hands graze hers, he stops and stares at her with a deep flush.)

...Anytime. Jinora...a-are you seeing anyone back in your world...?

Seeing..? [Jinora blinks, then her eyes widen when the meaning of his words sinks in] Oh! No; no. I'm not...seeing...anybody.

...Really? Th...that's great! (Takato almost turns away, but forces himself to continue on.) Um...If you wanted to wait I'd understand but, I-I just wanted to ask...would you go out with me...sometime?

Like...on a date?

...Yeah! Exactly. A-a date.

[bookbender]

[she blushes again, and looks down at her feet] Well...I don't know...

[Jinora can almost hear her father's reaction at the thought of his little girl dating a boy, and she's pretty certain that it wouldn't be approving. But on the other hand, Takato is a nice boy. And it's the first time that a boy has shown interest in her.]

It's okay if you wanna think about it...! I'm probably not as attractive as other boys you've seen...but I'll do my best to make you happy, even if we don't live in the same world...

(Takato knows that eventually, they'll save the Digital World from destruction and when that day comes, he'll go back to his world with Guilmon and Jinora will return to hers. But he's willing to risk his heart for a really pretty girl.)

No! No; it's not that! [Jinora reacts quickly, not wanting Takato to get the wrong idea] It's just...I've never had a- a boyfriend before. I don't get to go into Republic City much, and there aren't a lot of people my age on Air Temple Island.

[thebiggestdreamer]

...Oh! Wow. I've never had a girlfriend, either. There was someone I liked, but...she had feelings for someone else. There aren't many people your age on the Island? That's too bad. Your parents must look out for you often, huh? (Takato knows the feeling, in a sense. He could already hear his mother's response to 'her baby boy' dating a girl, and he was pretty sure his father might approve. Until his mother gave him a stare-down.)

[Jinora nods her head in reply. Nima looks up at her partner, surprised.] Dad tries to keep the island as self-sustaining as possible, so there's not really any reason for Ikki, Meelo or I to leave it very often.

...That must be so lonely sometimes. (Takato can only guess what that feels like; even though he has school, he's able to leave his house from time to time. From what she told him, Jinora and her siblings...apparently can't. He reaches out with his hand and takes Jinora's in his own, his gaze intense.)

[She shrugs] Sometimes. But we have each other (when we're not fighting, anyway). And it's been nice having Korra around. And there's also my books...

[Her voice trails off when Takato takes her by the hand, her cheeks flushing red]

(Takato's cheeks are steadily getting red once more, his voice audible to only Jinora while squeezing her hand gently.) That's wonderful. You can tell me all about your books, and I'll show you my drawings of Guilmon...the ones I've made since coming here, anyway...

(He goes silent, leaning forward while closing his eyes. He's nervous, but doing his best not to act on it.)
