[ The D-Terminal camera shakes quite a bit as Chika shows up on the screen, looking a bit confused, puzzled, and not sure about what's going on. ]

Hey! Does anyone know what those Black Gears that the guy who just sent out that distress call was talking about are!? And who else is going to go over to File Island to help? If Digimon are attacking each other that can't be good.

[ The camera fidgets a bit, her lip curling down into more of a frown. ]

Anyway, Biyomon and I are going to be heading to File Island to take care of this. So anyone else that wants to come who's in HospiTown should come with us so we can stop whatever these things are!

I was planning on going, if you would like someone to accompany you Chika.

[Kaldur doesn't know much about the Black Gears either, but this is one of those times where he can't just sit back and wait. Even if it means back tracking almost all the way back to where they started from.]

The sooner we can address this the better I think.

[ She'd smile or something, but well, this wasn't really the time. ] I'd go alone if I had too, but it makes me feel better that you're coming along too.

When do you think we should leave though? I mean, if we get more people interested, it doesn't help if we're already hours ahead of them... but we can't wait too long either.

Seems like the rallying cry ain't getting out there so much.

Yeah. I... I really don't get it. We're supposed to be helping people, right? And I know there's still a lot of us in HospiTown.

But okay, that's good! That's at least three of us so far!

I intend to see what's going on. As soon as I've got enough supplies with me, I'll be trying to find a way there.

[He looks determined enough.]

You are welcome. I am sure others will speak up soon or merely join us there. We need to make sure that this situation does not spread after all.

Perhaps early tomorrow? That will give people time to decide and prepare. We can leave and if people decide to follow then they still can. You never know when we will need a calvary or back up to relive us if this becomes a major issue.

It will also give us a night to rest and gather our energy for the journey and perhaps battle.

I'm going too! Just gotta get some stuff together first, then my partners 'n me'll be catching the next Trailmon.

I dunno what these 'black gears' are all about, but it sounded like the Digimon there were in trouble, so we should go help.

Kit, you're coming too?! [ Yeah, she's pretty excited and can't even begin to hide it. One of her friends was coming to help with this! ]

Thanks! I'm sure you and your partners will be a big help! There's already three others besides me going, so we're trying to figure out how to all go together. Maybe you should wait on the Trailmon until we figure that out?

Thanks Terra! [ She's really glad to talk to him again, and hearing that he wants to help is really good. Even if she can't bring herself to smile and grin and be all happy about it right now. They had big things to worry about. ]

I think we can take a Trailmon to File Island. But we might want to have another plan in case something goes wrong. We don't know anything about what's going on right now. Besides what that Andromon sent to us anyway...

Yeah. I really hope so.

[ She does think about what he says for a bit. ] Early tomorrow seems like it'd be good. Though if we get a lot of people coming with us that might make things hard to coordinate. I know we can take a Trailmon there, but that might make us an easy target too.

But going ourselves with a flying or swimming Digimon might make us more tired than we need to be if we get attacked. And Biyomon can't stay as Aquilamon and Garudamon for a really long time either. We found that out the hard way on our way here to HospiTown.

Whatever those black gears are, they can't be good. We better cut them off while we still can. Count me in!

I'll see if I can't drum up some support. Maybe people are just distracted or something...

Have you got both your Digimon to evolve yet? I've only got the one so far but he can go up two levels.

Okay. That'd be good.

And I only have one partner, but I've been able to get him to digivolve to Ultimate before the two of us even got here.

[ Yay! More people were helping! ]

Yeah, kinda. Not that many more times than the rest of you though. [ Unlike her brother. Stupid thing involving different timelines. ]

[Grim circumstances didn't prevent him from at least trying to offer the girl a reassuring smile. These aren't circumstances he liked people to be in.. but what could be done?]

I've heard the trailmon are an option as well. I haven't been able to find out anything about these Black Gears, though the message sounded bad. I'm hoping a few people with flying digimon will be able to provide some birds-eye views for us.. when we get there.

['We'. Shouldn't trained professionals be handling this? Why did the Digimon by and large choose kids??]

Yeah. We'll... figure something out. Biyomon can fly and carry people as Aquilamon, but I found out the hard way that he can't really stay in that form all that long. We tried it when we were getting to HospiTown.

I don't know if he'll be able to last the whole way to File Island or not...

Best to be safe then and keep him in reserve for emergencies instead of relying on his strength so soon to carry people about. The trailmon aren't a terrible option, it'll just take a little bit. More time to be sure we're ready, right?

Yeah. More time is good... [Actually, no, she wants to go out there right now and take care of this. But she knows that's stupid and she can't. Rushing's just a good way to get everyone hurt. ]

Any advice for us boring adults who are trying to play hero?

[ Chika thinks about it. She's not really sure what she can really say, things in her world worked a lot differently than here. ] I think most advice I could give is just common sense.

But you really need to watch out when you're fighting a digimon. Sometimes they can evolve suddenly even if they don't have a partner.

[Burst out loud laughing]

Yeah common sense isn't really my specialty.

But the other thing is good to know. I haven't seen that happen yet.
