Hey! Does anyone know what those Black Gears that the guy who just sent out that distress call was talking about are!? And who else is going to go over to File Island to help? If Digimon are attacking each other that can't be good.

[ The camera fidgets a bit, her lip curling down into more of a frown. ]

Anyway, Biyomon and I are going to be heading to File Island to take care of this. So anyone else that wants to come who's in HospiTown should come with us so we can stop whatever these things are!

Have you got both your Digimon to evolve yet? I've only got the one so far but he can go up two levels.

Okay. That'd be good.

And I only have one partner, but I've been able to get him to digivolve to Ultimate before the two of us even got here.

Yeah, kinda. Not that many more times than the rest of you though. [ Unlike her brother. Stupid thing involving different timelines. ]

Any advice for us boring adults who are trying to play hero?

[ Chika thinks about it. She's not really sure what she can really say, things in her world worked a lot differently than here. ] I think most advice I could give is just common sense.

But you really need to watch out when you're fighting a digimon. Sometimes they can evolve suddenly even if they don't have a partner.

Yeah common sense isn't really my specialty.

But the other thing is good to know. I haven't seen that happen yet.

Well... umm... I haven't seen it much either. But I've heard it can happen. Or at least it happened back home. But it might still happen here too.

So...wait you had Digimon follow you home? To your world?

... Actually, I didn't meet Biyomon until his egg showed up on Earth. We ended up getting sucked into our world's version of the Digital World later.

Seems like the Digital World thrives on inconsistency. No wonder I like it so much! HA!

It's not really inconsistent if it's a completely different Digital World...

Different yet the same! All versions of the same Digital world but different.

Oooo! Perhaps we found a new multiverse!

What do you mean by 'new multiverse'?

What? Don't you kids have comic books where you come from?

A multiverse is like...OK imagine your own universe right? All the planets and the stars and everything. Now imagine that's a marble. And there are a bunch of other marbles scattered all around your marble.

Each of those marbles has a universe, like yours but different. Sometimes it's very different, sometimes it's only a little different.

Where I come from we've learned how to travel between the universes.

... I know what a multiverse is. I just don't know what you mean by there being more than one. That doesn't make any sense at all.

Well why not?

If one marble contained an entire multiverse we could put a whole new multiverse in another marble. Just like that.

... But then wouldn't they just both be part of a bigger multiverse and be the same one?

That depends on where we draw the lines.
