If I'd entertained anything as nefarious, wouldn't you say it would be far more favourable for me to follow him on his little jaunt to Myotismon's castle, then bring harm to him there without going to such lengths? Oh, and believe me. If I could call a Whamon at will, I'd certainly not need your help.

[As with Sora's digimon, he's... not actually all that bothered about not being trusted. It's something he's dealt with, a lot, and it shows in his measured response.]
