For...my friends that... [She hesitates for a moment, a slight frown on her lips as certain words come to mind, before she decides on different ones to say.] I just...wanted to let you guys know that...I'm going to be heading out of town...if you...don't already know, that is...

Chris and Martin are...taking me outside of Hospitown...to learn about wilderness survival. I'm not sure how long it'll take, or...how long we'll be gone...I just...wanted to let people know so that...no one worries.

I-I'll...still be in touch, though. I'll have my D-Terminal, and I'll be calling people whenever I get the chance...So if anyone needs to reach me...it should be fine.

It's called making reservations at a mountain chalet, preferably when skiing season is open. That is wilderness survival.

[For the record, Tony hasn't so much as bought a Swiss Army Knife let alone actually been camping.]

It's in the wilderness, and you're surviving. Really it's the only way I'd want to experience it.

I'll take boarding school beds again over sleeping in the wilderness more than I have to.

Maybe before GPS, cell phones, or my armor, sure.

So other than going Troop Beverly Hills, what's that point of this? Is there some great monochromon migration or northern lights to experience? Or is it one of those 'oneness with nature' things?

O-Oh well, nothing like that. I...I thought it would be good to...learn how to do this sort of thing...J-Just in case I...get dropped off in the forest by a data stream again...

Hearing that just makes me want to arrange a search and rescue squad of flying digimon. You know that right?

O-Oh...I wouldn't want you to...go through all the trouble. Th-That's why I want to learn how to survive in the wilderness...So if it does happen again, I'll know how to...handle myself.

I like the idea of knowing that you wouldn't be out there long if it happens. I mean Port is weirdly fond of you, so it keeps her happy knowing you aren't going to be eaten by a digital snake.

Believe me, if I still had a suit I would be that Search and Rescue Squad.

[She blushes a little.] Th-Thank you...I do appreciate that.

But it should be all right. Chris said that he'll be teaching me how to navigate too...That way, if I do get lost again, I'll be able to find my way back easier.

When I got lost this time, I was lost for a few weeks. So this should really help.

Guessing he's some kind of eagle scout or something, camping out a lot then? Doesn't just go to summer camp, or used to live on a block of land with some trees on it?

[To be honest, Fluttershy's a cute kid. Tony doesn't want her to be tied to a tree and sacrificed to the Kratt's gods. She made him a pillow he wants to make sure she's not getting herself into trouble.]

He's a Creature Adventurer. He and his brother travel the world to study and learn about all different kinds of animals.

[That sure is a big grin on her face.]

So he's a zoologist? Because I've never seen that in want ads.

[There's a pause.]

But then, I don't look at want ads, you know that is a very big grin there.

Wait, brothers? Twins?

[She blushes again, tucking hair behind her ears and avoids the comment to answer his question.]

Th-They're...not twins. Chris is the...younger brother. They just...are really close and work together...

[Tony knows what went through his head, because he's a terrible person and knows what he'd be thinking if they were girls.]

Suddenly this is going in a different direction.


So, he likes animals then? That's fun.
He doesn't jump on them while exclaiming how beautiful they are in a silly accent does he?

I-I...don't think so. Although he...does get really excited about them.

[Which is something she can relate to.]

Coming to this world must have been fun then. Not that I blame him I think? There's a lot of exciting weirdness to this place. Not always good excitement, but it's still there.

Well...I know he was really excited to learn about the Digimon. They even compared some of the different Digimon that had similarities to animals from their home world.

Must come from one interesting world if Dorumon and Terriermon can be compared to things they actually have.

[He's of course refusing to acknowledge that Baggins does look like an overly cute labrador puppy.]

Mm, their world is interesting...But I don't think in that kind of way? They gave me one comparing a Lopmon to different species of rabbits, and they all look pretty normal...

Okay. Maybe that makes a certain amount of abstract sense.

[He makes a gesture at his ears.]

The ears are probably the give away there. So this trip is just him teaching you about how moss grows, and talking about how much Gesomon look like calamari?

S...Something like that. He's going to be teaching me how to navigate and how to...uh...rough it...in the wilderness.

Yeah. Really not seeing the appeal here.

[He has an expression on his face as if trying to find the interesting part of the situation, but keeps returning to the fact that all he'd need is JARVIS in a situation like that.]

Make sure you bring bug spray?

Well, I like being around nature...But it'd be nice to learn how to take care of myself if I get lost too.
