[By the looks and sounds of things, Hawkmon has hijacked the D-Terminal and is running around...it looks like the convention center. The bouncing scenery is at least a small clue to the fact that he's being chased.]

Hawkmon, please, give it back. They've got enough on their hands as it is!

All the more reason to encourage them a little bit! Come on! It's not asking a whole lot, is it?

[There's a sigh just off camera. Marley's caved.]

A-All right, fine. I'll do it.

Hooray! Here, let's just set the D-Terminal here-- [The D-Terminal is actually stationary now, if not slightly askew, and now shows Hawkmon pushing Marley by the legs into view.] You stand there, and you know what to do!

Okay...um. Hi, this is all Hawkmon's idea. Maybe since we're not out there on the front lines with everyone else, we can provide something to show our support? So...here goes...

[Well, this familiar face says it's helpful. A nervous smile appears on the feed, and Cam's there, outside the apartments. He can't talk for long -- he'll be heading out soon, to help defend the city -- but here he is.]

It was great, Marley. Nothing like a little, ...vocal encouragement.

[Marley worries her lower lip between her teeth when Cam shows up on the screen. It means he's going to fight...]

I really hope it helps. We're going to help here...at the convention center...

[He can tell she's worried. Hell, he's worried.]

Good. Lotta scared people here, er, Digimon. And there's bound to be some, uh, injuries. [He wants to take her mind off those whoops.] ...It's okay. I'll be with Lucemon...and Miss Shepard, too, she's doing recon, but she'll be back soon and I won't leave her side.

Cam? You'll...You'll be careful, right? You and the Commander and everyone?

[Because she doesn't think she could stand it if something happened to you all while she was sitting on the sidelines. The thought alone makes her drop her gaze in an attempt to hide the tears.]

[It's not that he sees the tears, more than he's familiar with the motion, so he speaks slow and gentle.]

I promise. I'll be really careful, Marley.

[She takes in a deep breath and looks back to the D-Terminal.]

I'm...I'm sure if you stay close to the Commander, you'll be fine. Just don't go do anything crazy.

[A thin, light smile, and a somewhat self-deprecating laugh.]

Not this time. Swear.

[Off-screen:] Campbell, Shepard should be back soon!

Right. You be careful too. I know, shelter, but I...still.

I will, Cam. I will...

[After a moment, he gives a lopsided grin.] It'll bee over before you know it.

[Before he can feel embarrassed about the pun, he cuts the feed with a wave.]

[She claps for her roommate, even if she is almost going to go help at the village with rescuing baby Digimon. It made her smile definitely.]

That was wonderful, Marley! Your voice is so talented!

I'm...I'm glad you liked it, Elizabeth. Are you...fighting?

[Please don't be fighting.]

No, I am not! There is a village of baby Digimon nearby the mess. I have to help with evacuating them to safety.

[She isn't, thankfully. She will keep her guard up, just in case.]

[That really is a relief to her...]

That's a good way to help. And...and you're not likely to get hurt either.

Exactly. It's scary, but I will be alright! I will come back in a few days safe and sound, so everything will be okay.

[Then an idea pops in her head.]

Once I get back, let's do something really fun. Does that sound okay with you?

That sounds wonderful, Elizabeth. I'd like that. A lot.

Great! We can go shopping or have a picnic... Or something else since there is a lot of ideas!

Of course! Maybe shopping and a picnic? We can pick out nice clothes or something...

Doing both is great too! Oh, I bet we can get really cute outfits!

If you like, we can invite a few others to join us with the shopping too!

Maybe...Maybe Commander Shepard and Cam and...Zack? And anyone you can think of!

Okay, I will ask around! A big picnic for all of our hard work sounds good!
