[ The feed turns on to the image of a somewhat frail looking boy with bright green hair. His partner, Wormmon is almost camouflaged from his current position of half flopped on his head. ]

Umm... hi! My name is Wally and my friend Wormmon said it was definitely time I said hello to everyone! It's still so amazing that the po-er, digimon here can all talk!

If I couldn't talk that'd be really bad. I have a lot to say, you know!

I've noticed!

[ Wally grins and chuckles a little. Though he really misses his Pokemon back home... Wormmon has definitely been a wonderful friend so far. He was keeping him from being lonely, and telling him all sorts of wonderful things about the digital world! It was all quite amazing. ]

Anyways... if anyone was interested I was thinking of maybe cooking a big dinner to try and get to know more people around here! Maybe set up some picnic tables outside the apartment building.

Food is the best way to make friends. For real.

Maybe... Um, anyways, I think I'll probably make fried rice with lots of veggies since it's easy to make a big batch! So if you're interested, just let me know so I know how much I should make.

I dunno. Veemon will eat about anything so he might not be the greatest judge of taste.

I don't really know how to make too many different things... I could probably make cookies the night before though!

We can just get creative! I don't think you need opposable thumbs to pass stuff around, and if some of the veggies were stirred into a soup--

[And Starscream just passed in the background. Gaomon calls to him, tail wagging.]

Master, I'm gonna help Wally cook!

I've told you, don't call me--wait, who?

[ Wormmon taps on Wally's head excitedly. ]

Is that something I can really do?

[ He looks back to the screen. ]

And you're in luck, I'm actually right next door!

[Gaomon's tail waves faster.]

Really? Great! That's--

Gaomon, who are you talking to?

Wally and Wormon, and they live right next door, and I'm gonna help them cook and--

[Gaomon turns back to screen.]

[Quietly relieved she didn't call him 'master.']

There will be no meat?

[Because Bravera is of the opinion that every meal should be well-balanced-- meaning meat and vegetables all the damn time. She looks out for her human okay.]

My mom told me I shouldn't cook meat by myself. If I under cook it someone could get sick.

[ And he doesn't want to land anyone in the hospital or anything. ]

Balanced meals are always important. If there are vegetables, there should be meat.

You can have a balanced meal without meat though. There's eggs, or vegetables like bean sprouts and mushrooms! They have a lot of protein.

[ He's done some nutritional research like any good pokemon trainer. ]

Peanut butter too, but that wouldn't be as good in a stir fry. Though whole peanuts or cashews might be interesting...

[Also, she's going to have to be careful to differentiate between Wallys now. This one is a great deal different than the one who blew up part of an elementary school a while back.]

Hey Wally, I'm Commander Shepard. You'll probably want to recruit some helpers if you're planning on feeding everyone, I did the same thing when I got here last month and it was high school cafeteria level insanity.

[ Thankfully this Wally at least has no arsonist tendencies, perceived or otherwise. ]

[ Should he.. salute? Did you have to do that with an officer even if you weren't a soldier? What was the etiquette here...? Well, he figures better safe then sorry and gives her one anyways. ]

Are, uh, cafeterias really crazy? I've been home-schooled so I've never seen one...

[Okay, that is cuter the younger the person doing it is and Wally is into the category of 'adorable'.]

Usually, yeah, but people are better behaved here than they ever were in the military cafeterias.

[But onto the other point of that statement!]

I was basically home-schooled too, actually. There were never more than 5 or 6 kids on a ship growing up, so we didn't really have a school system.

[ He is beginning to feel a touch nervous about volunteering to cook... it's sounding more and more like this is going to be a huge undertaking... ]

You grew up on a ship? That sounds so exciting! All that fresh sea breeze must have been nice too.

[ He seems very excited about this. Wally just laughs awkwardly. ]

Yeah, nice to meet you. I'm Wally... obviously. [ He nods toward Elecmon. ] That's Sparky. And I can't say no to free food, so count me in. I'm not too shabby with cooking, either, if you need my help, though I've never made fried rice before...

[ SADLY the similarities end at the name. If this Wally spent one day in the other Wally's shoes he'd probably die. But he's pretty delighted right now. It's always fun running into someone with the same name as you! In fact, this was the first time Wally had ever met ANOTHER Wally. He didn't get out much. ]

I could show you how to make it if you want. It's pretty much the easiest thing to make ever. It's really yummy too.

Yeah? That'd be pretty cool. Though I bet it's gonna get kinda confusing now that there's... two of us.

I dunno, maybe I should just start going by KF more often...
