[What was that face, Josh, holy shit. Hibiki hurries home and gets into the apartment with Floramon and a plastic bag containing some snacks.]

I'm home!

[And Joshua picks himself up from his crosslegged position on the floor, dusting off his jeans to poke his head around the corner. Perhaps his good mood is showing, but Hibiki doesn't escape a slight ribbing. Very slight. Very benign. Well, he is happy to have something to do, finally.]

... Heehee. You said "home."
Anyway, welcome "home." I guess. I've set myself up in the living room, so in your own time.

[And! He strolls back to the living room, hands in back pockets. His D-terminal is set to a locations page, something he's done a little tracing back to find from an optional attachment typed by an "original digidestined" (whatever that means.) Viximon, of course, is asleep.He recounts the hint almost in a sing-song fashion. ]

"Bright lights! City lights! We shine brighter than the town itself! Watch our colors from orange to blue! The sun lights up-- greater than your silly lamps!"

[And he turns to Hibiki.]

Other than this obviously being some kind of scavenger hunt to find whatever's depicted, I wonder what that could possibly mean. Any ideas?

[A small smile, as he waits. Of course, he's got some.]

[Elec Man strolls in after his shift at Lilymon's Beauty. Yes it was the perfect place for one like him to work. He gives Joshua and Hibiki a wave before barricading himself in his room.

There was no way he was going out for a Scavenger hunt without tidying up his appearance a bit.]

[Hibiki gives their other roommate a nod of acknowledgement as he walks through the living room before turning his attention back to Josh.]

Sounds like they're talking about a sunset, but that's hardly a place.

[To Elec, a small hello and a polite raise of the hand. He decides to wait for Elec to return before answering Hibiki.]

So you feel it's a location. Interesting.

... More interesting is the colours depicted. The hint says "From Orange to Blue." If you consider Newton's revised color circle and the Roy G. Biv mnemonic, we're looking at Orange, Yellow, Green and Blue. Of course, there's maps of Terminal City and File Island, which are colour coordinated. But, sadly, there's no orange at all and multiple greens are depicted. So it's probably not that.

...I don't think it's a sunset. Or other stars, for that matter. As you probably know, the colour of a star is dictated by the temperature of it's surface. Orange ones are around 4000 kelvin, yellows are around 6000-8000 kelvin, and blues are well above 12,000. However, there's no such thing as green stars. Not really. Our sun certainly peaks at the green end of the spectrum, though it looks white to our perspectives because it casts off so many protons in all kinds of colours. In order to get a green star, you would need to have a light curve that peaks right at green, but doesn't give off light in many other colours. And there aren't any stars that can do that, it's an impossibility.

[A small pause. And he puts his hands back in his pockets, only removing one to get his D-terminal, which is displaying a picture.]

... I think it's talking about the Rainbow bridge. See? Orange, Yellow, Green and Blue. By the way, the original was started in 1987 and completed in 1993. Oh, and the lamps are solar powered. I think that covers pretty much everything.

[It was a bit of primping and preening, and he had to use most of his bits he was saving up, but he finally got a got an ensemble, that wasn't his armor. He was quite pleased with it, since he managed to keep his previous color scheme!

He reentered the room and blinnked as Josh]

Dear me, you'll never get anyone to like you, if he keep acting like that. A bright boy like you, should know that already, after all.[It was less condescending and more amused then anything]

But I do agree that it seems like the best place. The dancing colors. The peerless architecture. The simple and elegance of the design. It truly shines like a million volts in the black void.

[Okay, Hibiki is talented at studying and he knows a great deal of things... But hot damn Josh just pulled complete encyclopedic knowledge of color and space out of his head. Hibiki's not quite that good.]

That does sound right, yeah.

[And he's... mostly going to leave the riddles to Josh, because it looks like his brain holds more than explanations of universes merging together.]

[He merely smiles quite darkly to himself at Elec Man's comment. Of course, he takes advice from one person. This person isn't even close. His eyes raise from examination of his D-terminal and move to Elec's, smile widening just a tad as they display something a touch glacial. Then he responds.]

...Hmmm? If you're quite done with assuming I'd care, much less palming off your advice like it actually means something, why don't you explain the second hint? As we all can see, it seems you're itching to say something profound.

[A small pause.]

... Well?

If you insist, it seems more like one of them is referring tothe precious Damemon. They do in litter this city.

I do believe I will. It seems to be a lovely diversion, from the monotonous grind of every day, this place has been giving us.

I'm sure it will. We're 3/3 now, Hibiki's in.
