✝ [ Video ]
[ The Undertaker sits on a bench outdoors, munching on a bone-shape biscuit. He considers his begun feed for a moment, then turns the D-Terminal up on one end. His image now displays sideways to any viewers. It's a little thing that amuses him, you see. He has biscuit crumbs on his chin when he starts to speak, too. ]
Well now. I must say that wasn't quite the sort of "game" I was expecting, but I did enjoy myself! What charming old fellows those Trailmon are. A pity they'll never have any need of my services. Such a large creature as a Trailmon would demand an incredible cof-
[ Oh, that's right. Commander Shepard told him not to speak of those things in front of the children. Well, whatever the paying customer requests! He cuts himself off with a titter, and bites more from his cookie. ]
Ah, never mind, that's irrelevant. What is relevant, instead, is that I'm looking for someone. Could anyone do me the service of directing me to one Marley Rose? Apparently they are part of my prize....

What do you want with Marley? [His prize?! Well that's not creepy at all.]

It's not so much what I want, as much as what I seem to have been given. What a funny reward for playing that silly little riddle-game....

They gave you a person?! Why?!

I cannot say that I understand it, either, but there the message was upon my little device when I woke this morning, with the name of Miss Rose included along with a substantial amount of bit. It seems the powers that be in this place mean to link us together in a strange new form of partnership....

Please stop smiling like that.

I'm afraid I find it very hard not to smile like this. Shouldn't a man smile when he is amused?

Alas, all Undertaker does is burst into giggles, which being shrill and a little off-key, are rather much worse than just the smiles. ]

You...! Campbell, don't talk to this man! He's a very rude individual, keep away from him!
I'm not-- [Exasperated groan, oh dear.] He says in the scavenger hunt he won Marley.
...That is a very weird prize.
You think?

Ah, little one... you've been keeping the boy well-fed, I see. But there's no need to let my humble self trouble you so. Milady Commander has instructed me to be more... reticent when I speak to the children.
[ And luckily for Shepard, she made him laugh and he considers her a customer, so he's actually obeying the request! Gasp! ]

You...know Miss Shepard? [That's more...reassuring.] Just-- you, nothing creepy with her, okay? Marley's my friend, and if you...do something to her, I'll. [Hit you with a hockey stick repeatedly, elbow you in the face, tackle you--] ...You'll regret it.
[LUCETTE REMAINS GLARING.]

As for the boy himself, Undertaker gives him a less manic smile than the rest, folding one sleeve-covered hand over the other. ]
I mean Miss Rose no ill intent, I assure you. She and I merely wish to understand the new power our little ones have apparently been granted, so that it may be of use when the city needs us next.

...
Don't say it like that next time. It could give people the...wrong idea.

[ Grin goes a bit too wide again, though. After all, people's reactions are fun. ]
