So I’ve been thinking of doing something new with my ears.

But I don’t like not having them free encase I need to glide. Ugh, it’s so frustrating. I mean, I’m the only Terriermon around here for NOW, but who knows how that’ll last. A girl needs to be able to stand out.

But every digimon is different, right? Like, you, in Terriermon form may be way more mature than another. Or less mature than another one again. Even though you look practically identical even though I'm sure that's quite subjective, Viximon has already told me that she knows the differences between digimon humans see as the same thing you've each got your own personalities that define you.

[She nods]

Plus having Partners makes it complicated, since we evolve a lot sooner then natural, and don't stay that way.

Though I guess I couldn't really explain anymore then Neku was able to explain how you all make... eggs.

[She makes a face, tail lashing]

The less said on that subject, the better. Long story short, humans make it way more complicated than what it really is. Believe me. Data in eggs is a way better idea.

... But what about you? Are you happy with evolving so much?

Well, I've known Neku was coming since I was hatched, so I guess I've always realized that fighting and protecting him was something that would happen. It makes sense everyone is really excited to get stronger...

I don't really think about it much though. ALl this saving the world stuff. Being a hero probably isn't as easy as they all think.

[Neku sits near by, much more interested in the conversation]

I guess a lot of it is her age. Human children often talk about being able to make a difference and all that. I guess digimon children aren't all that different. Or at least, some of them.

[ and he'd prefer that Neku wasn't around to hear this, but considering BlackGatomon seems to be way more straightforward than other digimon which harp on about the whole destiny thing...]

I guess so. I have no reason to DISbelieve it. But we were all born to stop it... I can't really remember what it was like before.

I think... SOMETHING will be left after everything. We might not like what we all end up with though, if we don't stop it.
