[Lopmon appears on the screen, a mix of concern and frustration on his face as he glances around quickly before turning his attention to the screen.]

S-so...I'm...only supposed to be monitoring the D-Terminal for if anything happens that we should know about. And I'm only supposed to make calls if it's an emergency, but... [He hesitates, glancing around again.] Well...I think it's important, anyway.

See...Fluttershy's been really upset lately. Ever since she and Beastboy... [He pauses, a look of anger passing over his face as he exhales shortly. Then he shakes himself out of it.] Anyway, ever since then, she's just been...sad. She won't leave our room except to go to work, and she'll only smile around the younger Digimon. And even they know something's wrong with her, 'cuz they ask her about it.

She keeps saying she's fine, but I know she's not...And...I-I don't know what to do. [He hates to admit that, because he was her partner. It was his goal - his purpose - to help her, and the fact that he couldn't was hard for him.

But this was about Fluttershy, not about him. And if this would help, than he'd gladly swallow his pride and do this.]

Uh...Twilight, Rarity...if you're seeing this...I-I know we haven't...really met yet, but...You guys are friends from Fluttershy's world, right? Maybe you two can help her?

Or just...anyone really...Please? Fluttershy...could really use some cheering up...

[He pauses for a moment, seeming to think over something.]

She's still working at the elementary school. She gets off at 2.

[With that parting statement, the feed cuts out.]

I heard you were feeling down. Want to talk?

[she blinks.] Where did you - ?

[She pauses, then gives Choco a look. The Lopmon smiled a little sheepishly.

She sighed, glancing back up at Ed.] I'd...rather not talk about it...

Then instead you should clearly talk about something else, with a friend. And burgers.

And hey, I'm a friend and I got burgers! So... it works out, right? If you want to, I mean. [He laughs sheepishly and looks away.] I-I just thought you might want that right now.

[She smiles a little.] I...guess I could use the company...

Anytime. [Having gotten in the occasional fight with one of his friends, Ed assumes that just ignoring it until you can air stuff out is important, so. He'll just fnd them somewhere to sit and eat.]

Oh. I met Twilight earlier. She's really nice.

Oh you did...? [She seems excited by this.] That's wonderful...! You two would really get along, I think...

Yeah! She was really cool... we talked about magic and stuff! She's really smart, too. I think we're going to be really good friends. [Passing her a burger.]

I'm so glad...! I'm sure she'd love to hear about how magic works in other worlds...!

[She takes the burger, looking at it curiously.] U-um...i-is there...meat in this...?

Yeah, I think we should sit down and compare... notes...

...Oh! D-did you not eat meat? [STUPID STUPID STUPID of course she doesn't eat meat she's too nice to eat meat.]

O-oh no, i-it's all right...! I-I'm sorry...I-I should have mentioned I was a vegetarian before...

You don't have to apologize... I'm sure Guilmon will thank you for the mix-up later. [He puts the burger back in the bag] S-so. Uh.

We could always like... go somewhere and get something else? My treat, and we'll make sure it's veggie this time.

Fluttershy, you can't bother me. We're friends, and you're feeling down.

[She blushes a little, glancing away.] W-well...u-um...I-I mean, i-if you'd like to...

I definitely would. Come on! [He grabs her hand before she can protest and goes looking for somewhere that sells things that aren't meat.]

[Not having much of a choice - though not really minding - she walks along with him.]

[Luckily it doesn't take too long to find a cafe that specializes in salads and stuff.]

Okay. So! Let's... try this again. How are you?

Oh... that's good. I kinda' was worried before.

[Well... at least she says she is. But Lopmon said she was pretending... and Ed knows a thing or two about pretending things are fine. If he thought she was worried, he'd insist, so.]

[She looks up at him, a little surprised. But then she smiles and nods.] I-I...I know...thanks, Ed.

You didn't talk to me for the last couple of days, right? I was apparently acting really weird and kind of like a giant butt.
