003 | [Video] Backdated to before Mario Kart
[Gear up kids, it's time for training!
Or rather, what Wheeljack defines as training. The feed opens up to show the apartment he's living in, and while everything seems peaceful and tranquil at first, until a lavender blur dashes past. It looks like Wheeljack's Gazimon, dashing around with a little feather duster. She's...cleaning? Interesting choice of hobby.
But the video seems to pan out slightly, probably from the duster, showing Wheeljack leaning against the kitchen counter, a bowl of cereal in his hand. And a can of beer in the other.
Nice combination.]
Wheeljack, this isn't training!
Sure it is. Heard about it once.
Wax on, wax off.
[He even did the little hand motion.
You rolled her eyes, deciding that some 'training' was better than none, and continued. Wheeljack, on the other hand, had taken a glance at his cereal (which was dry, what a smartie), and his beer can. Slowly, the beer-hand lifted up as he poured it into the bowl, substituting the milk.

Convenience.]
Just like that.
[Action]
It's just...he's been drinking...]
If you slow us down even a little...
[Action]
Don't worry, I can keep up.
[Hopefully that beer doesn't go to your head.]
[Action]
She tosses it over to the digimon.]
Congratulations, you're now part of the team. Ready for your workout?
[You have no idea how much she wanted to do this.]
[Action]
You BET I'm ready! C'mon Buck Goodman, you better be ready to run!
[Wheeljack seems ready to go too, rolling his shoulders.]
Then let's get started, rookies.
[Action]
Yeah, no you're not.
[Arcee grabs another bottle and shoves it into Wheeljack's hands. When everyone has their water, she starts heading out.]
You has the right idea, though. As soon as we're outside, we're jogging to the park. Plenty of room there. Once we make it, I'll go over the game plan.
[Action]
Wheeljack takes the water bottle though, opening the door and checking to make sure there's nothing his roomies'll get mad at him for...at least not this morning.]
You'll have to lead the way. Don't think I've been to the park just yet.
[Action]
[She's just going to sashay her way past him, out the door and down the hall. Tapirmon follows suit, that large backpack swaying back and forth as he toddles along.]
Let's move it. I need to make up for the time wasted on fetching you.
[Action]
Technically, we woulda had to meet up anyway.
You're really well prepared, Arcee! I'm jealous of John Stammo over here.
[Action]
It's okay to be jealous, I have the best partner.
[He says that like it's fact.
Once outside, Arcee doesn't wait around. It's like You said, she's well prepared. That means she's got a schedule to keep to and no time to waste. She takes off in an instant towards the park.
Tapirmon doesn't take off right away, but rather takes the time to Digivolve into Bullmon before Arcee gets too far away. In a flash of bright light, he becomes his Champion form and runs off after his partner as soon as it's over. That large backpack no longer seems so large against him now, in fact it looks like a perfect fit.]
[Action]
He's surprisingly alert, considering the beer intake, but it'll only be a matter of time...]
So, were you a soldier too, Arcee?
[You's practically idolizing her right now. Now THIS was training.]
[Action]
[Arcee tries to keep her pace even as she talks to You. Although she doesn't actually look directly at the digimon, rather keeps her eyes in front of her.]
Fought under Optimus Prime. [Not that she'd know who that is, oops.] That bottle I gave you? That symbol? That's the Autobot insignia. He's our leader.
[She finally looks down at her, smiling and lifting her eyebrows.]
Kind of a big deal.
[Action]
That's amazing!! Was Wheeljack part of that too?
Yes and no.
[He jogs on the other side of You, looking ahead as well, as if to memorize the way there.]
Same army, different team.
[If team meant alone.]
[Action]
Not that it has to be that way. He can join us whenever he feels like it.
[If she had to take a guess...]
But that won't happen until he's done running away from whatever.
[Action]
You're not going to work together? Even when they invite you?
[Wheeljack dodges the issue, shaking his head before replying.]
Don't act like you know my situation.
[Action]
[She's getting pretty serious now, jogging up ahead of Wheeljack and stopping a bit, blocking his path. Training can stop for this.]
So why are you? You're working with me now, aren't you?
[Action]
You asked.
[You turns to sit at Arcee's heel, looking up at him.]
I think you LIKE working in teams, dummy.
[Action]
We asked you to join us, too. What's pushing you away?
[Because it obviously isn't her if he's so willing to work with her. It's gotta be someone else.]
[Action]
[Those hands burrow their way into his pockets, looking for any way out of this conversation, via running ahead. But...well, Arcee and you (and probably Bullmon taking up some space) prevented that.]
Just proud of who..and what I am. Unlike some people.
[There's a lot of pain behind those words, like it's the first time they've ever been uttered.]
...What's he talking about?
[Action]
Bullmon, go take You to the park and get started without us. We'll meet up with you later.
[Bullmon, who has been very annoyed and BORED ever since they stopped to chat, perks his head up in surprise. Do the thing? By himself?]
I, uh, guess I could do that! [He glances over at You.] Let's get going. Last one there has to do one thousand pushups! ...Unless... Unless I'm the last one there.
You know what? Forget the pushups!
[Action]
Sounds good to me, John Stamalam.
[With a spring in her step, she bolts down the sidewalk, down towards the park. Wheeljack on the other hand, watched, slightly envious. Feelings weren't his thing. Burying them down...that was.]
...So. There ya have it.
[Action]
Once they're gone, Arcee glances around. Where's a good place to stop and talk about this... Oh! The ice cream shoppe's always good. Not like she's a stranger there or anything.]
Hold that thought. [She motions her head towards the shoppe.] Follow me.
[If they're going to get feely, they might as well do it with a snack.]
[Action]
Lead the way.
[Nevertheless, he starts walking. Food or not, though, talking about this wasn't going to get any easier.]
[Action]
Sit down, she's got this under control.]
[Action]
..
That's okay. He'd probably eat whatever she got him anyway. Don't mind if he does.]
[Action]
Her smile fades when she sits down. It's serious time again.]
Why don't you just talk to Bulkhead about it?
[She assumes it's Bulkhead. I mean, it's not like it can be anyone else on the team.]
