Guilmon's Totally Prodigious Digistuff 005 [Video]

[Today's camera pops up and shows the one and only Guil--wait where's Guilmon and why is this fox wearing her scarf? Well, at least Ed's standing next to her.]

Good afternoon, fellow denizens of the Terminal. I am Kyubimon, the evolved form of Guilmon.

I am known as the Flame of Balance. My interests include setting my foes alight with the dark blaze of my Fox-Tail Inferno, standing in the sunset, and running on the water. As a superior being, I have many thoughts and am continuing this log of my exploits so that you might hear my wisdom and learn much from it. [She huffs, fur puffing up slightly.]

As such, I shall now open the floor to any questions you may have. But be warned, the knowledge which I hold might make your skull itself implode.

So anyways, Guilmon finally digivolved. She's... kind of cool..? [He doesn't sound so sure about that. Kyubimon sees to bristle slightly.]

I hope when I evolve into Leomon I'm pretty too. Then I can be a beautiful warrior of justice!

[Leormon, honey, Leomon is... kinda hyper masculine. You are not a magical girl stahp]

There is no telling which of the thousand paths may wait for you until you have trod it. [She's just trying to sound smart.]

Oh no, I haven't yet, but I just KNOW I'm gonna be a Leomon. Leomon are wise and brave and strong, so to be a true warrior of Justice it's the only form for me!

[Daichi gives small shrug in the background]

I can't convince her otherwise.

Yeah... to be honest I didn't really see 'Giant fox thing' coming for Guilmon, either... Some things are unpredictable. I do dig the taoist symbols though.

Never count your Biyomon before they digivolve.

Seriously, this who evo thing doesn't seem to make much since, but at least she's happy as a fox-thing.

[He turns to Leormon]

See, if you turn into something else it might be coo-

No, no Daichi you'll jinx it!

...Kyubimon, what does that mean exactly?

WAGH! [Ed falls over on his rear from the sudden shout.]

[Daichi and Leormon both freeze and whimper in oddly identcal tones, mid slap fight]

If you bicker with your partner, you shall forever remain a child! Only through proper diet and unity with your partner can you ever hope to grow and mature.

P-proper diet..?

Burgers and delicious snacks!

Daichi, I want burgers!

B-burgers are optional to digivolution. Plenty of my friends did it without eating nearly as much as Guilmon did.

But none of them are nearly as cool.

I-It's not about coolness, Kyubimon..!

[Ed sighs.] There is no scientific link between burgers and coolness, Kyubimon...

Then it is clearly a magical link that you are unable to sen-

[Leormon looks shocked, and about to say something. But Daichi, in a rare show of tact, shakes his head at her. After his earlier convo with Ed he knows the other guy is really into magic. Best to let the partners work things out themselves
