[Today's camera pops up and shows the one and only Guil--wait where's Guilmon and why is this fox wearing her scarf? Well, at least Ed's standing next to her.]

Good afternoon, fellow denizens of the Terminal. I am Kyubimon, the evolved form of Guilmon.

I am known as the Flame of Balance. My interests include setting my foes alight with the dark blaze of my Fox-Tail Inferno, standing in the sunset, and running on the water. As a superior being, I have many thoughts and am continuing this log of my exploits so that you might hear my wisdom and learn much from it. [She huffs, fur puffing up slightly.]

As such, I shall now open the floor to any questions you may have. But be warned, the knowledge which I hold might make your skull itself implode.

So anyways, Guilmon finally digivolved. She's... kind of cool..? [He doesn't sound so sure about that. Kyubimon sees to bristle slightly.]

Softness and fluffiness are things all digivolved digimon should strive for. A luxurious coat of fur is a requirement for all strong digimon.

...Kyubimon that is really not how it works...

[He chuckles.] I won't argue that looking good is pretty much a requirement, but if you're doing a lot of fighting, you'll probably get your fur all dirty anyway.

...You're right [Shock!!] Ed, we must never get into a battle. My glory must not be tarnished.

Kyubimon, you alreay know I don't like fighting for real... if you're digivolving to battle, it's going to get messed up.

Then I shall have you clean it after every battle!

I don't blame you for not liking conflict. Brains are much better than brawn, most of the time.

So what got your partner to evolve? I'm new here, so I haven't seen it happen yet.

Well, we were about to get eaten by this dragon...

Yes. A dragon that came randomly from the sky and whose anger had nothing to do with anything anyone there did.

Anyways. We were about to get eaten when Kyubimon and Ikkakumon digivolved to protect Hiccup and me.

So our partners ev-- er, digivolve to protect us?

[He's probably read that somewhere, but having the confirmation is nice.]

That dragon sounds pretty rude, though.

Yeah, pretty much.

Yes. He attacked because he was rude and not because anyone set him on fire.

[Ed facepalms.]

What Kyubimon is trying to say is that she got overzealous and got it angry.

Hmm. I can't say I haven't imagined setting people on fire before. Generally it's a bad idea, though.

[He smiles.]
