[ Zack has been in the city for about an hour or so, getting his bearings and talking to this... Digimon of his. It's all really weird and he obviously wasn't expecting this when he died, but hey... if the world needs saving, they should call on a hero, right?

He seems to be fiddling with the D-Terminal when the video feed turns on, stopping only when Dorumon speaks up, ]

Zack?

Huh? What's up?

You were going to ask the network something, weren't you?

Oh, yeah, of course! [ he smiles at the screen, only slightly less enthusiastic than he normally would be. He should have asked earlier, but he had to catch up with all of this digital nonsense first. Kind of threw him off his game, ] Hey there, my name is Zack and I have a couple questions. [ He holds up his index finger, ] First off, I'm looking for a guy named Cloud. Blonde spiky hair, about this tall [ moves his hand just at his shoulder for emphasis, ] wearing a uniform like mine. [ minus the bullet holes. ] And Cloud? If you can see this, give me a call. [ it's a longshot, but he may as well try. ]

Second question, I'm in apartment F2 002 I guess? [ He looks to Dorumon for confirmation, and the digimon nods, ] Anyone else shacking up there? We're probably gonna head over later to check it out.

Is that all?

[ Zack is silent for a moment as he tries to think, ] Pretty sure that's it for now, yeah. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated, though.

I'm sure they'll be waiting with bated breath.

I-- Hey! [ and the feed turns off. ]

[ oh hello adorable child, ] Well look at that. Maybe they're related!

[ there's a slight hitch in his smile, but he maintains it for the time being, ] Thanks, I appreciate it. Gotta look out for my friend, you know? [ he's pretty sure Cloud can handle himself at this point, but it never hurts to be a little worried. ] You here by yourself? Aside from your digimon, I mean.

[hi cool spiky-haired mister. the thought of sibling digimon makes her smile a little.] They could be!

Yes, I'm by myself for now. Along with Dorumon, I met a lot of nice people so far. I'm sure your friend will show up at some point.

[ He appreciates her optimism. ] Even if he doesn't, I'm sure he's fine. He's a strong kid. [ He'd like some closure, though, but he really shouldn't be a debbie downer around a little girl like this. She doesn't need to hear that Cloud was in really bad shape and Zack was dying last he saw him, ] So, how're you getting along with Dorumon? Mine doesn't seem to like to talk much.

He kind of reminds me of my older brother. Kind of grumpy and quick on his feet, but he's kind as well. He doesn't like it when I call him cute though.

Because I do not find myself as a cute type.

He's pretty serious, but we get along pretty well.

[ He laughs, looking over to his own Dorumon, ] Sounds about right. Maybe they really are related.

I highly doubt that.

[ SHH NO ONE ASKED YOU, ] That's good that you get along, at least. I guess it wouldn't be much of a partnership if you didn't.

I kind of doubt it as well.

Well, from what everyone's been saying, it's important to try and get along with your partner. I'm sure your Dorumon will warm up to you once you spend more time together.

[ He grins, ] I'm not too worried about it. Pretty soon Dorumon here won't know what to do without me, [ he says as he headlocks his digimon. Still addressing Elizabeth, ]

Hey, I never got your name, by the way. I'm Zack.

That's the spirit! [No matter what, she will almost always approve of any friendships. She won't headlock her digimon, but Dorumon still gets some pets anyways.]

I'm Elizabeth. It's nice to meet you, Mr. Zack!

[ Mr. Zack? That's new. At least she didn't call him sir. ] Nice to meet you, too, Miss Elizabeth! I know we just met and all, but if you need anything, you just give me a call, okay? [ since you're like 12 ]

[Excuse you, I am 14 and I just polite to my elders, that's all.]

I will! Don't be afraid to do the same! I'm just a few doors down from your apartment on the same floor.

[ CLOSE ENOUGH. ]

Oh yeah? [ He thinks for a moment, glancing off screen, ] Hey, have you met Fluttershy yet? She's one of my roommates; she might appreciate having another girl around.

She's the lady who owns a Lopmon, yes? If so, then I have spoken to her before! I told her it's okay to call me if she needs anything or would like to spend time together.

[makoinfused]

That's the one. [ He nods, ] She's kind of shy, so you might have to nudge her a bit, but I'm sure she'll come around. At the very least, maybe it'll get her Lopmon off my back for a while.

Is her Lopmon overprotective? I say just give them time and both of them will warm up to you in no time.
