Of course it's possible. If there's someone here who's better at hacking than myself, there's a chance they are the ones responsible.

[ A light laugh. ] That's impossible however, so it's likely that the data has been corrupted in some fashion. Let me see if I can explain it better in a way a magus like yourself would be able to understand.

You know the circuits that are within every body? Sometimes, when you use an intense spell, they can collapse the circuit therefore keeping it from being able to produce odo. In turn, that causes the entire magus unit count to lower until it has been fixed. They're incomplete and in it's place other bad stuff comes in, like sickness or odo with blood.

I don't think it'll be able to correct itself fully. Computers and all things digital require instructions from an outside source. They are incapable of repairing themselves unless there's a smart AI involved.

Even then, the chances are highly unlikely. This world needs someone to patch those holes and while I'm working at it...

I wish I could help--while I know more about technology than an ordinary magus, I'm average with it at best. Hardly any master programmer, certainly.
