Rock 5 [Video]
[First, it's just...Terra, huffing out a breath.] Okay. Look, I know some of you probably saw...Beastboy's memory, from the other day. So I wanted to set some things straight, about--
[A flicker of a memory starts up. It's too late, Terra. An orange and black room, the color reminiscent of lava.]
You have had doubts in the past...made mistakes. But all that is behind you, isn't it?
[The man speaking is in two-tone orange and black armor, such that it conceals his face. He's speaking to Terra, in gray armor of her own.]
Yes.
You belong to me now, don't you?
I do.
From this day forward, will you serve me, and me only?
I will.
Will you obey my every command?
I will.
Will you fight at my side forever?
[He hands her a crooked S emblem. She attaches it to the front of her armor.]
I will.
And will you destroy the Teen Titans?
...I thought you'd never ask.
[Terra's face, which has been until now impassive, twists into a cruel, vicious smirk.
The memory statics out, into another. This time, the scene is a city, and it's deserted. Robots march through it; it looks like it was conquered. Over the city, a voice filters through a communicator, the same from the man before.]
A world without Titans. I was beginning to think I'd never see the day. But at long last, the city is ours. And victory is mine. Fine work, apprentice. You have made me very proud.
[Floating above the city on a rock platform is Terra, her face blank and her voice cold.] Thanks. It was fun.
[But the memory from there fades. Into her laughing, with a group of teenagers, one of them being Beastboy, outside a pizza place. Looks like Beastboy lost a competition of some sort, and everyone is enjoying themselves--
Static back to before. Terra, on her platform, where she was in that memory, but no others. It's dark once more.] Section five is secure. Pretty quiet up here since all the people cleared out.
Get used to it, my dear. This city is only the first of many.
I know.
[So it continues. With the conquered city, with Terra fighting a magician-like villain alongside the kids from before, being a hero, and enjoying it. Walking with Beastboy and laughing, except ultimately the memory always goes back to her in that deserted city.]
Well, we did it. They're really gone.
[It flickers out, back to Terra's face, horrified and shocked.]
I-I. I.
[The feed cuts.]

[ She knows it sounds pretty lame coming out of her mouth, but she doesn't really know WHAT to say in response to that. What could she even say to it? ]
[Audio]
Honestly? Not in the slightest.
[Audio]
[Audio]
[Audio]
[ She pauses. ]
But I guess what I don't get is... well, why'd you do that stuff?
[Audio]
[Audio]
[ She pauses. ]
I mean, had?
[Audio]
's'no excuse. I know.
[Audio]
[ Chika sighs, wondering what else she could say. What should she say? Terra was different now, but still... ]
... But nothing too bad happened during that, right? I mean... you're dating Beastboy now.
[ She doubted that he would be willing to do that if Terra had hurt people too badly. ]
[Audio]
But I did really bad things. I helped a madman conquer a whole city and tried to kill the people who I'd called my friends.
Like I said, I understand, if... [She just kind of...lets it hang. 'If you don't want to talk to me anymore.' 'If it's too much.']
[Audio]
[Audio]
Can't say if I deserve it or not, but...you're a real good person, Chika.
[Audio]
Hehe... I... well I try, I guess.
[ Hopefully Terra won't be able to hear the blush though. ]
[Audio]
I gotta...meet someone. ...Beastboy, he should be here soon. But, yeah...thanks for...well, thanks.
[Audio]
... We'll talk sometime late, I guess?
