[The sound of waves. It's like, Cam turns on the feed, but he can't bring himself to talk first--]

Neku's gone. His partners, they're...staying there. In the Forest of the Gods. Uhm, me, and Maya, and Shiki. We're all headed back to HospiTown. It just didn't feel, uh...

Yeah. The place is nice, though. If any of you can get there, it's...relaxing. [He breathes out.] We've been on the boat for a few days. Be back in a bit, if I don't. Go stir-crazy here.

...Who all's still here? [So he says, tentative and nervous.] Just, so... This all sounds stupid. Never mind. Jinx, you should stay in HospiTown. No one's gonna be at the Forest if you head back.

[Hazel swears that the gods have a sick sense of humor, if this is even their doing. Her head is practically spinning with all this new stuff, and it's taken her a moment to let it all sink in. She sighs, and with some coaching from her Digimon, figures out how to use the device's video function.]

So...everything here is digital?

[She frowns. She's not so sure about how possible that is, but it's better than thinking she's finally gone insane.]

What's happening in our worlds while we're here? I mean, I'd kinda like to know if I help here and get home, I haven't missed out on 20 years.

[Or another century for that matter. It's one thing to go from 1940 to 20-something, and quite another to go from then to like 2573.

Hazel glances at her partner off-screen.]

Also...no offense meant to my, uh, partner, but...I don't know how comfortable I am with having a human child-looking Digimon. With. Angel wings.

[She looks mildly exasperated at the breezy tone of Lucemon's voice. Hazel still hasn't decided on a name for him, but she's definitely choosing something that doesn't remind her of Lucifer.]

[the camera shows -- the road. a lazy voice pipes] No... Roxas, that's the wrong way.

I don't need your help. [somewhat sullenly. Roxas turns the D-terminal around so that it focuses on his face, but he's not looking at it, now focused on the Digimon offscreen] You won't go away?

Fine. Then... you may as well remember something for me. A name. It's-- [Roxas pauses. it's a long pause, and then his eyes widen] What was it?

Well... what did it start with?

Give me a minute, I'm trying to think-- Sh... Something with... [blankly, and increasingly frustrated] I can't believe I forgot again. Sh... She...

[you should probably interrupt him because he is really distracted and has forgotten what he was doing and that this thing is still on. feel free to stumble across him in person, too; he's just hanging out, sleepy evil koala on a low wall next to him]

Is the future for other worlds predetermined? Is it for the Digital World or the Real?

Does knowing what happens, mean it will now always happen?

If you meet someone from your future, does that mean you can't change it any more, since it's their past, and the past can't be changed? If changing your future to help you, might hurt other people and their past, or maybe even remove entire people from existing, do you have the right to try to change anything at all?

[This distressing scene opens up on Roadbuster who's holding the communicator shakily and trying to keep calm...pretty hard with everything that's happening right now.

He looks extremely distressed. In the background there's the sound of smashing objects, the room being horribly trashed. Thank god there was no one else living there.]

Aaaah guys help! Duke and Leatherhead talked and then he saw something and then he sorta laid down for awhile and then his eyes went funky and now...now he's tearing the room apart!!!

[Ok Roadbuster, keep it together, Leatherhead can't be that angry--oh no wait that roar definitely meant something was up. Ok he's back to shaky mode.]

I dunno what to do, guys! Duke's not here and--

[He gives his own panicked yell just because of the sheer amounts of overwhelming he's feeling.]

[Yeah, so. Still no Bruce on this D-Terminal, sorry. It's Floramon, once again, and this time he just looks even more worried than ever, if that was even possible.]

So... uh. [He shifts uneasily for a moment, looking pretty much like the world's most uncertain Digimon right now--which probably isn't that all far from the truth.] Bruce hasn't talked to me at all since we got to Hospitown.

[Pause.]

I'm not even sure what the problem is, this time. He just... doesn't talk. I tried to talk to him a couple of times already, but he just either doesn't respond or just says something like 'Later' and then stays in his room and doesn't come out. I asked him once if it was something I did and he said he wasn't but he still isn't talking to me at all and I...

[He just wilts here, this time. Almost literally wilts because with all of this happening, Floramon is becoming sure of one thing:]

I'm useless, aren't I? Maybe that's why he doesn't want me anymore.

He didn't go home! His D-T account is still fine! And.... I just know, damn it!

[A voice over the edge of the ship. Psycho is still grounded from the boat]

So uh... I was wondering if maybe he poofed back over the- woah!

[The D-T flips out of her paws, sending the view flying]

Sixteenth Goal: Departure. [Video, backdated to the 19th, morning]

[Cam's got his backpack on. He's carrying something, under his arm, a pack of some kind. The implications are clear -- he's going somewhere. Lucette carries Salamon behind him, along with a tiny bag of her own.]

There's no easy way to say this... Me and Maya, and Neku and Shiki, we're going with Sakuyamon. We just... It's the right thing to do right now. Harley, if we could uh...still talk through video...? I can get, stuff, sent, through...shipping, they've got this pirate system. LH, man, I'm sorry, uh... Keep up your workouts, okay? It's...uhm. [He looks like this is not exactly how he planned on saying this.]

...Sometimes you need a change of view, you know?

[He bites his lip and then smiles.] So...yeah. See you guys around, I guess.

[Early in the afternoon on the 23rd, a short and simple text message came from what might have been a familiar D-Terminal.]

I have, at present, two questions.

1) What's the date, exactly?

2) Rider. Are you still here?

[Not very long after that message was sent out, one could find an unfamiliar figure wandering the hospital in long strides as though acquainting himself with the layout. Though he had the decency not to start smoking inside, the oddly tall individual seemed to be mildly annoyed about something or other as he went about his path through the building.]

[when the screen turns on it shakes a little, like the D-Terminal was jostled. The video shows Jinora walking over to and sitting on the edge of her bed, a pad of paper and a pencil in hand. Her partner sits on the floor next to her. Neither appears to realize that the video feed is on.]

-about "Gawa"? She was on the council at the Western Air Temple; Dad says she was noted for always being able to find joy in things.

Sounds like a possibility.

Okay, we'll keep that one on the list. [she circles the name] Hariti? She was very devoted to caring for Air Nomad children.

[Leormon shakes her head vigorously]

[giggling] Strike that one, then. [she strikes a line through the name]

[Saori turns on her D-terminal. She rubs the back of her neck and sighs. Even at 89, revealing this sort of thing never gets easier with age. ]

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Several people have been sent home. This includes Roze, Miwako, and... Squall. I'll miss them too and can only hope they're doing okay.

[A Strabimon comes into focus on the screen. He looks vaguely concerned, and a Hyokomon can be seen yelling MAYA over and over again in the background.]

Are there any Chosen on the island of San Francisco that would be willing to help Hyokomon and I locate our partner, Maya? She was supposed to be back by now, but it's probable that she got distracted by something.

[Hyokomon has switched from just yelling Maya's name to yelling various threats of never-ending house arrest. Strabimon glances over his shoulder and sighs.]

Maya is a little over five feet tall, has blond hair, and was last seen wearing an owl hat and a sweater with an owl on it. She also had a cello strapped to her back, and we would be very grateful if you had any information about her whereabouts.

[Yang appears on screen. She is on a Trailmon again and heading on out from whatever island she had been occupying. Honey the Bearmon is on one side of her, looking away from the camera and apparently disinterested. However, you may notice a new mon's face: Armadillomon. The yellow creature's face is pressed against the window on her right. He's apparently very enthralled with the view.]

Hey guys! It seems like it's been awhile, huh? Well the circumstances kinda suck, but I will admit I've enjoyed being on the road again. The only thing missing is my motorcycle.

[Sad sigh. Yang really misses her bike dammit. The Armadillomon next to her seems to take notice now as he blinks and turns to look at the D-Terminal.]

You didn't say we were startin'

[Yang smiles sheepishly.]

No biggie. You're still on camera. And since you noticed, why don't you introduce yourself?

[Armadillomon shifts away from the window so he can better see the camera. He holds up a claw.]

Hey. I'm Armadillomon or Porridge. I'm Yang's partner.

[There's a cough from the Bearmon. Armadillomon chuckles, rubbing at his head.

Well, one of'em I reckon. I don't really get it all. Maybe there was some kinda mix up or somethin'. But it's alright with me. I just get to meet more people and digimon that way.

[Yang nods and then snaps her finger.]

Which reminds me! I haven't made it to HospiTown yet, but I heard my sis is there already. You may have heard her post? Her name is Ruby and she wears a red hood. I figured she'd get here eventually since I can never seem to lose her for long...

[Don't worry Ruby she's teasing, you can tell by the grin.]

Anyway, until I get there I need people who are there to be nice to her and maybe show her the ropes. You know...make friends. Ruby likes making friends.

[Yang winks.]

Welp! I'll see you all in HospiTown.

[And she abruptly signs off.]

[A man comes onto the screen, looking like he’s shoving something out of view of the camera. He looks to be a little older than most, a little gray around the edges. But he addresses the device with urgency.]

Whoever is receiving this message, my name is Ratchet. I’m originally from Cybertron, and I was a Cybertronian and now I’m... I’m this! [He gestures to himself, rather erratically.]

If anyone from Cybertron can hear me, please try and lock onto my coordinates. Use the space bridge if you have to.

[He soon looks off screen and shoves at whatever it was. It seems to protest, but it’s rather muffled.]

Would you stop bothering me? I don't care what that child said!

But Ratchet, you need to--!!

[It looks like an Agumon, trying to tug Ratchet away out of worry.]

Again, if anyone can hear me, Bumblebee, Arcee, Bulkhead… I acquire assistance immediately.

[And the feed cuts out with Ratchet yelling at the poor digimon to get away.]

[The video starts up to Yu holding the D-T, smiling tiredly. The view rocks softly back as forth, and with the bits of blue and black framing him, it's obvious Yu is riding Raidramon]

Just letting everyone know that we made it alright. Thankfully we found a Whamon that was willing to assist as well... Did everyone else make it alright? Has anything else happened?

Oh, and just in case anyone was worried about him-

[He turns the D-T slightly, showing a Leppamon. In fact it's Tatsuya's Champion form. And on her back is a very asleep Neku. The kid is still half in his festival clothing, though he seemed to have at least grabbed some more casual pants- that look too big on him and quite possibly might be Yu's. His hair is a tangled mess, Terri is passed out on his head, and Syakomon's shell is closed as he's being used as a pillow]

Sakuraba-kun is fine too. I found him trying to walk here... someone missed the last Trailmon, from the sounds of it.

[The feed opened to show a young girl with a red hood and a Falcomon on her shoulder. She looked rather nervous, looking like she was trying to think of what to say. She let out a breath]

Okay, you can do this... [Looks at the feed and smiles Umm... hello everyone. I'm Ruby, and this is my Digimon Falcomon.

[Here we have Harley, lounging in one of the train cars with what looks to be all the junk from her apartment...and some of the junk from other peoples apartments. Apparently while everyone else was evacuating Harley was looting. Feel free to call her out on it if you see something of yours]

Just checking in with you all, my patients especially. Seeing as my office has been reduced to a smoking hole in the ground...I thought I should offer to take any appointments and chit chats over the comms in private. Begging everyone's pardon, I dislike interrupting your doings for personal matters but has anyone seen Lady Roze?

Julie and I went out for more wrapping paper while she stayed here and sorted through the work she was doing for the festival and when we came back, her D-Terminal was left behind.

It is not like Lady Roze to leave her terminal.

Are you kidding? She'd remember that before she'd remember her damned underwear. [ Julie grunts, looking over Musashi's shoulder before going back to rummaging through Roze's papers. ]

Did she have an...uh...arranged...meeting...with anyone? [ He might be blushing under that mask, but its hard to say. ]
