[The feed clicks on to show the D-terminal in a dim room, and from a pretty funny angle. Lopmon's not on camera, but he's trying to shove it into Kovu's hands, and Kovu's shoving it right back, trying to keep himself off the camera too.]

C'mon Kovu, there are people worried about you! Say something!

Why would they be worried when they're all mad at me?!

How do you even know they're mad at you? You wouldn't let any of them talk! They'd only be mad at you 'cause you haven't talked to any of them for so long!

[Kovu suddenly rushes forward, his jaw and goatee now framed in the upper portion of the screen. His snarl can only be partly seen, but it's perfectly visible.]

All right, smart guy, how do you know?!

[Lopmon stumbles back, and the D-terminal falls to the floor.]

You turned it on?!

He's just trying to help, Kovu!

[Kovu's surprised for a second, then looks away from the camera.]

...I hope you're right.

I am right. It's going to be okay Kovu, you'll see.

But how can you know that?

I know because... it's hard to explain. I just... believe that it can. If I believe and tell myself that things will go bad, they will. But if I tell myself and hope that things will go well, that things will be okay in the end... they will.

["Not getting it" doesn't begin to describe. Kovu gives Donnie a wary and distrustful look.]

Nope. But you can believe what you want, I was only answering a question.

There's no way it can work like that.

Well of course not, you have to put in effort to make it better. But you can't do that unless your in the right mindset. So it's not easy, but it can work. But your allowed to believe what you want.

[Yet again, the Digimon is sent tumbling over.]

[Donnie just watched for a second, feeling a slight sting of pain on the inside. Watching Kovu and his Digimon... ti hurt with his own dead. He wasn't going to say it out loud though.]

Well he does have a point.

[Kovu gives a kind of half-growl at Donnie, looking kind of huffy.]

[It felt like he was talking to Raph. The similarity was so close it almost hurt.]

[He rolls his eyes, and then gets smacked in the face by a pillow. He pulls it off, growling in Lopmon's direction.]

I'll talk to you later Donnie, I need to kill my partner.

[Lopmon lets out a startled "meep" as the feed clicks off, right after a loud crash that could only be Kovu slamming into the ground on top of him.]
