First Scar [Video]
[The feed clicks on to show the D-terminal in a dim room, and from a pretty funny angle. Lopmon's not on camera, but he's trying to shove it into Kovu's hands, and Kovu's shoving it right back, trying to keep himself off the camera too.]
C'mon Kovu, there are people worried about you! Say something!
Why would they be worried when they're all mad at me?!
How do you even know they're mad at you? You wouldn't let any of them talk! They'd only be mad at you 'cause you haven't talked to any of them for so long!
[Kovu suddenly rushes forward, his jaw and goatee now framed in the upper portion of the screen. His snarl can only be partly seen, but it's perfectly visible.]
All right, smart guy, how do you know?!
[Lopmon stumbles back, and the D-terminal falls to the floor.]
You turned it on?!

So you are here. I met friends of yours, but I haven't see you yet.
I'm glad I can finally speak with you.
[Lopmon picks up the D-terminal, and he's pointing the camera at Kovu - who has definitely recognized Nala's voice.]
...How...
N-Nala...I...
[He can't even find the words to say to her. He'd never even really spoken to her.]
Hello Kovu.
[Her smile fades into a concerned expression, her Kudamon moving to peek over her shoulder at who she was talking to.]
Are you alright?
Is that the guy you were talking about, the one that is your daughter's boyfriend?
Yes, that is him.
He seems a little different from how you described him.
I...I'm fine...
Do you mind telling me if there is anything you've learned about being a human that might help me?

...You were?
Told ya!
[The D-terminal hits the floor again as Lopmon gets knocked over by a pillow tossed at his head.]

I mean, I know you can take care of yourself. Big strong lion and all. But we're friends right? So I wanted to be sure you were OK but I wanted to make sure you had your space.

And your girlfriend...or wife or whatever, her mom's here!

[Donnie is noticeably alone for once.]
Donnie? Uh...I-
...Yeah. I'm...I'm all right.

[It was awkward, considering the incident that happened last time they spoke. But Donnie wasn't upset with him then, and he certainly wasn't now.]

I...
[Kovu trails off.]

Kovu, about what happened a few weeks ago, I'm not mad. I never was. Marley... she just took it the wrong way, that's all. I was never upset, and I'm still not.

I can't say about anyone else, but I'm not mad. I lived underground away from everyone for moons, I can't really say anything about isolation.
[He cuts himself off.]
I can't believe you're all...
Are you all right?
...I'm trying to do the best I can. Move forward, do something. So I guess, considering... I could be worse.
What about you?

Can it!
[Lopmon almost says something, but a growl from Kovu makes the word die in his throat.
Kovu faces the camera.]
I'm just used to everyone being angry at me. That's how it was back home.
So did you actually do something?
