What’s up, Tokyo? Y’know, aside from the whole partner thing.. and Titamon! And the viruses! Man, it has been cuhRAZY these past few weeks! …Months? Haha! I guess the whole time we’ve been here, huh?

But that got me thinkin’! Y’know, we’ve all been so busy with ALL THIS STUFF, I feel like I haven’t gotten to know you guys as well as I should! Like, where are you from? Were you always a people, or did you used to be an animal? Or a half-robot-half-ice-cream-truck?! Who were your friends, what did you do for fun, that kinda thing! I wanna know!

I mean, I know I’ve got people I miss… But with everything else going on, sometimes we don’t get chances to think about them, or talk about them, and then we bottle it up and it feels really bad! So, yeah, consider this a chance to let that out. I wanna hear, even if we don’t know each other too well yet! No judgments.

...Oh! And Digimon, too! I'm sure you guys have a lot of things to talk about! Like, what's it like with all these weird people showing up and trashing your city all the time? That's gotta be a major pain, dude.

I'm from Atlantis originally. I could tell you the exact city-state, but I've found most people are lost after I explain that part. I was also originally this shape at home as well. However, being Atlantean my body is a little different as I have webbed hands, feet, and gills...though not all Atlanteans come this way.

[He laughs.] Y'know, it sounds a little like Martin and I did things in reverse. We're humans who have been creatures. Well, the common conception of what makes an animal anyway, since humans are technically animals, too!

My partner's too shy to tell you herself, but...apparently she was a pegasus. I guess that's some kinda pony with wings...

Guilmon was always Guilmon.

[He pauses, then adds with a giggle:]

Well, except when Guilmon evolved, but that's different from being changed into a person! But Guilmon came from this place called Shinjuku, which is a great big city with lots of tall buildings and loud cars, a school, and a huuuge park. That's where Guilmon always stayed!

[Coincidentally, it looks remarkably like the park here did before Titamon wrecked it, and for a second, Guilmon's ears droop, and his smile shrinks...

But only a second. After shaking his head, his grin's back in full force.]

Um, and Guilmon had lots of other friends besides Takato. There's Jenrya and his Terriermon-- Jen's half Chinese, and his dad's really smart. He's one of the people who helped make Digimon! And Jen's sister Shuichon is really sweet and loves playing, and I think she used to use Terriermon as a doll. Then she got Lopmon as a partner! That was a big surprise because Lopmon used to be a Deva, and they worked for the Digimon gods...

And there's Ruki and Renamon. They're here right now! But Ruki wasn't always nice... she used to think Digimon were only meant for fighting. Juri's here, too, and there's lots of other people Guilmon could talk about...

[But that might take a while. Guilmon's been through so much, after all!]

[Milo smiles and nods idly while he's listening, though he starts to zone out a bit toward the middle.]

Man, you've been involved with this whole digital world stuff for a long time! Guess that makes sense, since you're a digimon and all..
