[ Sora is feeling pretty good - despite how the market area looks. Kyokyomon rests on his head and Renamon is hovering over a shoulder. ]

Kinda glad that everyone is back to normal. It was starting to get kinda rough, you know? But hey... It's all over and we definitely kicked butt! I got my crest too and I'm pretty sure lots of us did. So the next time something happens, we're gonna be even stronger.

[ well. Sora thinks so anyway! just look at that face and try to disagree. he takes a moment to look over to Renamon with a grin. ]

And we get to make new friends. More help never hurt, right?

All that morning training with Ultra Magnus had paid off, sure, but with a Lopmon not used to the situation? He had to keep slowing down for her, until he eventually just swept her up around his neck.

[ sorry, Wheeljack. definitely will need a rematch. but for now? Sora's just going to give a little victory cheer. Renamon joins him, of course, but Ryudamon just shakes his head.

[ thankfully Sora is used to hair ruffles. it just means he laughs and jokingly pushes the hand away. ]

Maybe we were taking it easy on you.

[Sora's upbeat personality seemed to be infectious. It actually put Wheeljack in a good mood as he held the door open to the ice cream shop. His eyebrows are raised at him, as if he thinks the kid is talking absolute crazy, but he'll play along.]

Uh huh. Gave me a handicap, yeah?

[His head jerks towards the entrance, other hand outstretched.]

Normally I can glide magically and all that stuff.

[ which is true. just none of that, painfully, applies to this place right now. but Sora is all grins, and Renamon is hiding her laughter behind a hand ( paw... whatever ). either way, he's just gonna duck inside that place of wonderment and delicious dairy confections. ]

[He walks behind him, playfully lifting up his arms in birdlike motions.]

[ the kid snorts, laughing. ]

[He's working his way behind the counter, helping himself to the ice cream already. Don't worry, he works here.]

[There's smirk of approval as he shoves a cup of ice cream into the kid's hand, laying the bits for all of theirs on the counter before heaving up onto it for a chair.

Seems to be a pretty slow day, so why not?]

Figure we oughta do that sometime. Bet I could make us somethin'.

[ gonna have to give Sora a second. he is wonderfully distracted by ice cream. sure, it's not seasalt, but that's fine. ANY ice cream will do at the moment and dang it... he's going to enjoy it. HIS VICTORY.

...and only Renamon seems to enjoy his enthusiasm. Ryudamon is taking it all just as calm as ever. ]

I still have a keyblade here. It doesn't disappear all magic-like and stuff, but it's collecting dust in my room.

[Wheeljack stops eating a moment, when Sora says that.]

Wait, ya got to keep your weapon?

[NO FAIR. He came in with zilch in this stupid world. Then again, swords larger than a car wouldn't really benefit him here.]

Guess I'll have to remake mine.

I've got to keep everything that was on me. Potions and stuff too.

[ messy eater much? Sora's one. ]

[He turns to Sora, though, taking two plastic spoons from a container and twirling them in his hands.]

[ that seems to perk Ryudamon up. likely because he can spit spears and stuff. Sora's interested too, but his mouth is full. so he just nods with as much energy as possible. ]

That means two.

[It's followed by a slight smack to You's head. Sorry, You, but Wheeljack thought you deserved that one a bit.]

Yeah. Not too shabby with a blaster or a few grenades either. Blades take top.

[He notices Sora's enthusiasm, though, smirking to himself as he scoops up some ice cream from his little cup.]

What about you? What's this key...thing?

[ Sora snickers, hand over his mouth to stop from snorting out ice cream or something. Ryudamon, on the other hand, grumbles. all he had wanted is like a demonstration...

Vixie? she's humming to herself and having a good ol time. 8| ]

Keyblade. It's a sword in the shape of a key. Only special people can wield one and it's the weapon that the Heartless fear the most. With it I can do magic and unlock pretty much anything I want.

[Don't worry Ryudamon, the Lopmon feels your pain, and goes over to pat him on the back. They're difficult, she knows.]

Sounds like an all in one, if ya ask me. Magic, though, I'd hafta see in person. Ya got me a bit skeptical.

[You've got no room to talk, giant robot that turns into a car.]

And...Heartless?

If we get the chance to have that stuff back? 'Course I'll show ya.

[ totally is an all in one. Sora takes a bite or two of ice cream before answering the next question. he talks about it so very naturally. which, well. Heartless are pretty easy now, as far as enemies go. ]

Heartless are the darkness of peoples' hearts. They're monsters that just look for other hearts to take. Well they're called hearts to us, anyway. I think someone mentioned that it sounds like a soul. So I guess it could be that too.

[It's almost amusing how Sora speaks about this as if he were talking about the weather. It's gotten a small smirk out of the old war hero.]

'was gonna say. Not all of us got hearts. Not like you humans do.
