[Choco's grinning face could be seen as soon as the screen lights up.]

Hi everyone! I'm back! It's been a long time, huh? Things have been really crazy...

Oh, but I wanna show you guys something. It's really important...

[He digs around off to the side for a moment before pulling back up, holding a golden tag with a pink crest.]

Tadah! Fluttershy finally got her crest! Isn't it neat? Kindness really does suit her the best...



Choco, what are you doing?

[He pouts at the Floramon.] I'm just showing everyone Fluttershy's new crest...

[She rolls her eyes.] Would you stop goofing around? Gimme that...

[She starts to take the D-Terminal from him, but Choco holds on, and there's a shaky view of the ceiling as the two start tugging at the device.]

No, leggo! This is what I do - !

[Please excuse as the feed cuts out.]

That's alright. It kinda reminded me of what it's like sometimes to have a brother.

[She giggles softly.] R-Really? I never had any siblings, so I...don't really know...

[beingthecreature]

Oh yeah. [He laughs and shrugs.] Martin and I get along pretty well, but everyone's got their arguments. Even us.

A recent back-and-forth that wound up dropping a power disk out the Tortuga comes to mind...

[strengthinkindness]

Oh really? What happened?

[beingthecreature]

Ahh, weelll... It all started when Martin and I wanted to trade power disks. We got into an argument over whose was whose, which started a tug-o-war with one of the disk holders. It slipped, flew up in the air, scattered disks everywhere when it landed, and unfortunately one of them- hippo power -went rolling right out the open door and, since we were in flight at the time, plummeting towards the African bush. I rescued it, briefly- [There's a momentary wince in remembrance of just how he lost hold of that disk.] -but it dropped again and *plnk*, right into a river.

[Chris can't see it because he's focused on Fluttershy, but his two Digimon are listening with just as much rapt attention.]

O-Oh goodness...Did you get it back?

[beingthecreature]

Eventually yeah, but not without having to deal with one of our villains in the meantime, plus having to wind around a pod of hippos without being hurt. We lost the hippo sub too, at least for a few days, and I think I was tasting slime for a week. [Another snicker.] At one point it was looking a little sketchy, because while we managed to get the disk back from Zach, he had gotten his hands on the holder with the rest of them, and threatened the health of a baby hippo if we didn't give him the holder back after we had rescued it from him.

[Sounds dire but, he's smirking like he knows something.]

[strengthinkindness]

[In the background, her two Digimon could be seen peaking over, just as into the story as Fluttershy.]

So what did you do?

[beingthecreature]

I gave him my disk holder in exchange for releasing the baby.

[Nope, still smirking. Something's up here.]

[strengthinkindness]

O-Oh...w-well, I guess you didn't have any other choice. That must have been difficult though...

[Floramon peaks over.]

So you lost?

[beingthecreature]

Nope! I gave him the disk holder alright...

[Sylvia studies Chris's confident face, then gasps when it clicks.]

But not the disks!

You got it!

[strengthinkindness]

Oh...! [Fluttershy laughs a little.] I see.

That's a clever trick!

[beingthecreature]

Yeah-hah. [All grins. Smug son of a-] So Zach releases the hippo and flies off, thinking he's got some of our disks when in reality he's got none, and all of our creature powers are home safe and sound.

[strengthinkindness]

[Floramon grinned.] Sounds like a good day.

[beingthecreature]

It was... well, it was a day, that's for sure. I'm just glad everyone had come out of it okay.

[strengthinkindness]

Still, you got to beat a bad guy. It sounds like fun.

[beingthecreature]

Sometimes yeah. I guess.

I wish we didn't have to deal with them at all, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

[strengthinkindness]

Mm...[Fluttershy nods, understanding how that is.] It does get difficult at times.

B-But...it's things like that that can make the good moments...more rewarding.

[beingthecreature]

Yeah, that's it exactly.

Man... I wish I could save the day.

[Chris glances aside at Nes and chuckles, giving him a nudge.] You may get your chance.

I hope so! I wanna go in fighting- pew pew boosh! -and I wanna be a hero, and save the damsel in distress and get kisses! [He giggles, grinning a little sheepishly at that last one. Chris can't help but laugh warmly.]

Yeah I could see that, but saving the day doesn't always mean a big gesture, yaknow.

It doesn't?

[strengthinkindness]

Right...saving the day could be all the little things you do all the time.

It could even be as simple as cheering up someone who's been having a bad day.

[beingthecreature]

[He glanced aside at Fluttershy's comment, then smiled and nodded.] Yeah, she's right. So don't worry Nes, you'll get your chance, I'm sure of it.

[The Dracomon tilts his head, not entirely convinced. But getting to be a hero sounds good to him so he grins all the same.]

You have a name already too! That's cool!

[Choco says this with a bit of a small aside at Floramon, who pouts a little.]

[Chris has a momentary eyeroll at that glance, but then smiles brightly.]

Yeah, this one was my idea. It's taken from 'Indonesia,' the native habitat of the draco lizard and where we had one of our adventures.

[Another, more prominent eyeroll.] Martin prefers to call him 'Nessie' though, after a legendary beast back in our world.

[She's not sure she's heard of that one.]

Oh-ho, yeah! One of the coolest creatures around. They're small, only a few inches long, and they look like almost any other sort of arboreal lizard you'd find, except for one important difference.

They glide.
