[There's a new arrival on the network today. She's dressed like she's ready for a performance, but she doesn't really look happy about her situation. Anyone familiar with the area will notice Hibiki's taken to Tokyo Tower to try and figure out where the heck her apartment is.
She doesn't realize her device is filming, mostly because she's just trying out.]
—does it even work? Hey, Psychetaro, can't you even tell me that?

That's not my name, and if I teach you everything, you won't learn.
[There's a bit of joy to Psychemon's voice as he stands on a railing behind Hibiki, almost like...he's enjoying antagonizing her.]
If I can't figure it out, I can't learn it! And what about where we're going to live? I can't see it, even from up here!
If I don't tell you, you'll get a better feel for the city, right?
T-that's not the issue here! I need to ask everyone where F3...004 is! Just tell me how to turn it on!
I'm sure you'll figure something out! Besides, you already turned it on about thirty seconds ago.
...H-huh? [Blink.] ...Are you tryin' to be cute? T-that's not funny at all! [Oh. Wait. It is recording.] How do I turn it off?!
[After a few seconds of fumbling, Hibiki manages to turn off her communicator.]

You've never heard of Okinawa? [Now she just looks a bit disappointed.] It's part of Japan...and New York is part of America, right?
video
I have not. Is it a city, or a village? [Then he nods.] Yes.

video
What's your home like?
video
[His geographical knowledge mostly spans North America and the Caribbean; his knowledge about other countries is more lacking. It's interesting to be able to learn about a faraway culture, though.]
My hometown is a small village in the Mohawk Valley. It is in a forest, on the shores of a vast lake. My second home is on the coast and further south, closer to Boston.
Re: video
[Hibiki's knowledge of the world is limited to everything she learned before switching to an idol school...and pop culture.]
So you grew up surrounded by nature, too? That's really awesome!
video
[Don't mind Connor's interest in political stuff that would be boring to anyone else. It's just kinda what he does.]
Yes. A city like this is very different to the way of life of my people. [Seriously he's pretty sure he hasn't even seen a single tree yet. He's fascinated by the place and its dizzyingly tall buildings, but it's by no means somewhere he could imagine living forever.]
video; i did way too much research for this tag and now i want to cry
[Some good, some bad.]
My place back home isn't really like this, but I've been livin' in Tokyo for a while now. This place is a lot like Tokyo! ...too much like Tokyo, maybe.
video; oh no D:
[With some good and some bad changes, too. Connor's still trying to figure out the extent of the good and the bad, on his end.]
...Strange. Where is Tokyo?

[She grins, misunderstanding, but she grins nonetheless. She'll believe him, anyways, because who would lie about their home?]
Tokyo's the biggest city in Japan! It's the capital, too. That's where I live and work now. ...Or did before getting here, I guess.
no subject
[Tokyo is the capital? He looks briefly confused; he thought it was called Meaco. But he trusts the word of a native over his own vague knowledge
and outdated European maps, so he'll just go with it.]And what is your occupation?
no subject
[Read as: She's not exactly the best at history...]
Back home, I'm an idol! I have my own show and everything. W-which is why I really need to get back! I have to feed my family, too...everyone's probably worried about us!
no subject
[Do people worship you or something? WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN.]
no subject
[At least he's not from the 2000's, she doesn't need a "like American Idol?" talk.]
no subject
[...Explaining pretty much anything modern to him is going to take a while, sorry.]
no subject
[She just has to ask, even if it's very clear what he just said. Luckily, he won't have to answer.]
Let me handle this one, Hibiki! Television is like the way we're talking right now, with pictures on a screen. Only instead of conversations, television is used to relay information or show stories to everyone who owns one.
no subject
[He's starting to get a headache from trying to understand so much at once, even if he picks things up quickly. Culture shock is nothing new to him, but this is on a whole new level.]
I hope your family will be all right without you. I have left behind many responsibilities as well.
no subject
[He looks a bit too proud for such an underhanded complement, but Psychemon only adds a "no need to thank me" from behind.]
...I don't know what they're gonna do without me. I'm the one who takes care of 'em all. W-what if all ten of them starve or somethin' while I'm not around?
no subject
[He's guessing her parents aren't around and she has a lot of siblings to care for, perhaps...]
