[Hi Yu. The teen is on the screen, his apartment in the background. Raidou, usually an Elecmon, is currently a Tsunomon... and there is a new mon, a Gaomon]

I wanted to thank everyone for their hard work recently. Things looked bad for awhile, but we all managed to make it through- everyone should be proud, even with all the unfortunate lead up.

Also, I wanted to introduce my new partner, Tatsuya.

[Gaomon waves shyly, smiling]

Please be kind to her, and if she doesn't respond to you don't be insulted- she can't speak, but she can hear and understand you just fine.

[Tsunomon bounces in his lap]

Yu got his crest too! I digivolved into Caturamon!

[He seems to realize he's being bold, and blushes]

Don't be shy, you fought hard. I might had gained the crest, but you and Roze's partner saved the day. I heard that others got a crest too... is that so? I'd like to hear about it.

Oh dude, You got a new Gaomon too? Sweet! Here's mine. I named her Chili.

["Chili" Looks unimpressed but waves. Sitting next to her is Rita who also waves]

[Tatsuya's pleasant expression tightens to... not aggression, but fiery interest when she sees Chilli- but that's cut off when she sees Rita and grins, tail wagging]

So I'm guessing, based on what Titamon said, that everyone had a new partner show up. It's going to be interesting, finding food for everyone. [Le sigh]

Yeah no kidding dude, especially since the shops got all smashed up.

[Rita smiles warmly and speaks to Chili]

Tatsuya was that nice Gaomon I met in the park the other day. I told you about her remember?

[Chili nods and folds her arms assessing the other Gaomon with the same sort of competitive interest. Rita turns back to the screen.]

How have you been Tatsuya? Settling in OK?

[She nods, rubbing the side of her muzzle with one glove and looking aside, though still smiling]

She was a little upset that she couldn't find us until after the battle. But maybe it was for the best. Two blue dogs at once? I might have tried to ride the wrong one.

[Raidou giggles, and Tatsuya turns bright red, her ears slicking back and a look of pure horror on her face]

Yeah dude, Chili was too.

The beast was defeated. That is what's most important.

[Rita waves a claw dismissively]

Don't listen to them Tatsuya. They're just having a bit of fun. I'm sure he wouldn't have confused you for each other.

[Tatsuya huffs softly, but seems to accept Rita's words. She is not a mini Caturamon, Yu. She is much cooler, tyvm!]

No kidding, I've got my fingers crossed we get a little break at least. It's almost December and the city is a wreck. What are we gonna do if it starts snowing?

Well we won't, the Hope district held up pretty nicely.

Anyway, nice to meet you by the way dude. I'm Beastboy.

Assuming it even snows based of the time of year here, of course.

Ah, Yu Narukami. It's nice to meet you too. Though I'm guessing our partners are pretty well ahead of us, right Tatsuya?

[Tatsuya hides her face behind her gloves]

Sure seems that way. I guess you guys are friends huh?

I'd like to think so. We had a lovely afternoon together.

[Tatsuya nods, tilting her head back in mimic of singing, soft hollow noises escaping her muzzle- like wind through a tube, nothing based off a working voicebox. Then clasps her paws over her heart, swaying slightly as she remembers Rita's music, tail going a mile a minute]

...I'm not sure I got all that, but she looks pretty happy, regardless.

She's the best audience I've ever had at the park. And I'll be happy to sing for her anytime.

Wow! That's pretty sweet!

Ah, you sing Rita? I'd be interested in hearing it too.

O-oh well...I don't have anything prepared...

Aw sure you do Rita. You've always got a song in your heart.

Are you sure? Should I get my keyboard?

Just sing.

[Rita sings and when it's over Beastboy claps and whistles, Chili gives a respectful and restrained applause]

[Tatsuya looks entralled, and Yu outright charmed, both clapping as well once she's done]

[Beastboy laughs and pets her head affectionately. Even chili speaks up]

Modesty in one's talents is a virtue. But pride in one's skills is a reward that should be earned. And in your case it has. You train every day to sound like that.

W-well...I suppose that's true.

[She's blushing so hot she's practically glowing]

He's right. You should never be ashamed of your talents.

I-I guess I just still haven't learned how to accept praise.

Well you keep up that musical stuff and you'll be getting plenty of praise to practice with.

Aww, she can't talk? Did something happen to her, or did she just never learn how?

I'm not sure, actually...

[Tatsuya looks sad, her tail drooping. After a moment she guestures at the D-T]

You want it?

[A nod, and she carefully takes off her gloves. Under them are long Gazimon-like claws... she looks embarrassed of them. It switches to text]

i dont know why. its been this way even back when i was wanyamon. maybe something happened when i was a botamon, or my egg was missing some data. but i don't remember ever being able to even call attacks, or make noise...

Aww... I'm sorry I made you sad by bringing it up.

[ She doesn't say anything for a moment, before thinking of something. ]

But at least you can hear and write and stuff! So we can still tal- communicate with each other without any problem, right?

its okay. it was harder when i was little and didnt have hands yet. im excited to get to talk with everyone!

I'm sure everyone will like talking with you! You're really really nice.

Anyway, my name's Chika. It's nice to meet you, Tatsuya!

[It's back to video, and Tatsuya is grinning and blushing]

[ Chika's smiling quite a bit too. ]

So, umm... all of you, are you going to be doing a lot of training once everything is kinda fixed and stuff? Maybe Biyomon and I can help you two out?

[Yu is back, looking pleased]

I don't think that most of you have any catching up to do though. I mean, only a few people have Ultimate here still, right? And no one's gotten their second partner to digivolve at all yet...

Oh, you got your crest too? Neat! Which one didja get?

Seems like a lot of people got their crests during this whole thing. Fluttershy got hers too! She got Kindness.

According to Raidou it's Reliability.

[He shows it, a small forest green charm, the design like an 'H']

Yeah, it is a boy's name. But the girl name I considered someone that used to be here had, and I didn't want to bring up sad feelings.

[That's not why the name caught his attention, but he will pretend it is.]

Understandable. This other digimon that's found me isn't quite mute, but she does tend to be very quiet.

[Camera shift! It's onto an...Elecmon!]

[Yu looks surprised]

I wonder if it's an Elecmon thing.

Maybe, but she's not shy-quiet like Raidou-kun is.

I'm not shy at all. [The Elecmon turns away and puts a paw over her mouth.] I'm really friendly. You're Narukami aren't you? It's nice to meet you. Hee hee hee...
