[The video clicks on, it's ~~Beastboy~~ Changeling in his dorm room again and there seems to be alot of color in the backround.]

Sooo uh...I may have gone a little overboard at the big party thing. You know those stalls where you play a game and try to win a plush toy?

[He picks up the camera again and turns it on the colors behind him, backing up till it's more visible. It's a giant pile of plush toys that takes up half the room]

Yeah...I'm really good at those things. So I won...alot. Anyway Psy says there's not enough room to keep them all so I'm giving them away! Just stop by room 009 for your free plushie! I'll even throw in another for your Digimon.

[Psychemon speaks up from off camera]

Please help us get these things out of here. I can't find my bed.

You made him cry, didn't you?

[She catches a little of that, something different about the laugh, but they're just getting to know each other again, so she holds her tongue as she looks around at the various plush toys.]

Maybe a little...it was hard to run with all these toys but he was throwing stuff at me.

[alot of digimon plush toys, the rest of his room is pretty sparse save for some doodles he's done of titans tower and the titans. His drawings are pretty simple and childish.]

You're a tragic hero.

[And as she looks around, it's the doodles that she sees.] Still scribblin'?

Gotta do something to pass the time. No game station. No money yet. I like to go exploring too. Psychemon likes wandering but only during the day.

And you're such a night-owl? [She winces immediately.] I mean. ...Sorry.

[Cups his hands around his mouth and does a surprisingly accurate owl impression]

It's cool. I do stay up late alot. Usually playing video games or something. Especially now that I'm not you know...training, fighting crime, running around all the time...

[A small smile.] Before long they'll probably have us, I dunno...fighting to save the world. You're born for this, you'll get back into it.

You bet. First chance I get I gotta prove to all these other teen heroes that I'm not all talk!

But what about you? I mean...what are you gonna do while we're doing all that hero stuff you wanted to retire from?

Me? Well... [Her smile thins.] I'm not gonna...run out into danger, but it's not fair to Gotsumon if I just stay on the sidelines. You know he went to a training session by himself last week? Kinda a wake-up.

'Sides, it's not just me. We're all working together here. ...And I don't really have to worry about what I used to.

That makes sense.

[He looks relieved for some reason then smirks]

Doing it for Gotsumon though? You're starting to sound like a big sister.

[Absolute flush.] Wha-- he's, he's just persistent, okay? And I'm being nice.

[That smirk turns into a grin]

You can't fool me, you're tough as stone on the outside but you're a marshmallow where it counts.

[Taps his chest over the heart]

[She rolls her eyes and smacks his arm.] Yeah, fine, I'm an ooey-gooey gumball, I get it. He's just, enthusiastic, but he grows on you, like a puppy.

...Made of stone.

[Laughs and rubs his arm because she still doesn't know her own strength which is somehow even funnier]

He couldn't ask for a better partner.

And what about you, Mister Toys For The Kids? Your partner's bound to like you, huh? Psychemon?

[Laughs sheepishly]

Ah heh, you may notice she's not here now.

She keeps wandering off. Says she needs alone time. I think I just irritate her. And she absolutely does NOT wanna fight.

Jeez... It's like we got the opposite partners, huh? Yours wants to be peaceful, mine wants to fight.

But... ya know, I bet you just need to give it time. You're a pretty likable guy.

[a bit of red in his cheeks and his ears perk cheerfully]

Yeah! I bet there was a reason we got the partners that we got. I mean come on look at Gotsumon. You're the biggest rock star I know.

And Psychemon well...she is kind of like three animals in one I guess.

What I mean is, I'm sure that's a sign of some sort...might as well trust in fate huh?

[She goes thoughtful, leaning against the wall she's standing next to.]

...You really think this is fate? Like...we're meant to be here?

[Digging around under his bed he fishes out a half finished bag of chips and opens it again offering the first chip to Terra]

Well I mean...I dunno how much you believe in that stuff. I've seen first hand that fate can be changed. And if there are plenty of heroes who have spoken to gods and whatever. So I figure not everything can be totally random.

And this worked out pretty well for us so far.

[With a half-smile, she takes a chip and stares at it for a moment before biting in to it.]

You really think so? Even with me?

[a looking of thoughtful sympathy]

Sure. It's not every day a hero comes back from the dead, and out of retirement. Even halfway.

Plus thinking it's all a coincidence makes it feel out if control.

I don't think this really counts as out of retirement. [She half-smiles, though. And shrugs.] But you're right. Thinking of it out of control's... [Scary.] This is better.

We can just go with the flow and ride down this river together. For our world and all the others.

[She smiles. It's nice, being with him again. His optimism...it's infectious.

And she snatches another chip, easily.]

So, which one of these d'you recommend? [She gestures to the plush littering his room.]
