Hey Hiccup if you're around, maybe after all this is over with we can finally sit down and look at that notebook you've got? So far I've noticed a lot of Digimon are similar to all the creatures I studied back home, and I'd really like to see if that trend continues.

And anyone who's had a partner digivolve, I'd like to know what their normal stage is and what they digivolved to? I'm just trying to figure out a couple things for myself regarding the process. [Let's face it, for a biologist like him the whole thing was a little nonsensical, but cool, and he wanted to see if he could figure it out.]

Oh, this? [He raised one hand and yep, it's in a brace. Chris shrugged lightly.] Yeah it's just a sprain, nothing worse than what I've gotten climbing around. It'll be alright. [A gentle smile; he does appreciate the concern.]

Oh, so that's Lynxmon! [A grin for the Digimon, then he looked up in thought.]

So, in the similar way that my Lopmon went from one "Ice Digimon" to another when she digivolved, so yours went from one "Fire Digimon" to another. I wonder if that trend would continue into higher levels.
