[The feed cuts on, showing one scruffy, somewhat scraggly, and slightly worn out Kratt. He's been working on the city every day and tonight, decided to sit around on the network afterwards.]

Hey Hiccup if you're around, maybe after all this is over with we can finally sit down and look at that notebook you've got? So far I've noticed a lot of Digimon are similar to all the creatures I studied back home, and I'd really like to see if that trend continues.

[He rubs his chin in thought- looks like a couple fingers have bandaids around them -and then looks back at the camera with a little gesture.]

And anyone who's had a partner digivolve, I'd like to know what their normal stage is and what they digivolved to? I'm just trying to figure out a couple things for myself regarding the process. [Let's face it, for a biologist like him the whole thing was a little nonsensical, but cool, and he wanted to see if he could figure it out.]

Alright well, let's see...

Turtles are reptiles, classified by their hard shells that form from their ribs. They're one of the oldest reptile classes, having been around for 220 million years. Generally when people think of turtles they think of the swimming variety. There's also tortoises, which are land-dwellers, and terrapins, which live in brackish water. Between the species there are general similarities such as camouflage shells and, for some, the ability to pull into their shells for defense.

Turtles live all OVER the world, on almost every continent. There's typically two different varieties, the freshwater turtle and the sea turtle, with the latter being found in every ocean. Unfortunately a lot of species of both, as well as tortoises and terrapins, are highly endangered but there are people trying hard to save them.

They're also popular as pets, even though they can be known to spread salmonella to people less than careful. You've gotta be careful too, because some species are incredibly long-lived; better write them into your will.

[He thinks for a moment, and he's almost on the cusp of asking about experiences as a gator before he checks himself. Whatever happened, he gets the feeling it's something of a sore spot, though he can't quite put his finger on why. So instead he smiles, thinking that maybe later is when he'll ask.]
