[Text] - Future Dated to 1/4
[Suddenly, everyone's D-Terminal gets a text message.]
This is a mass text. Does anyone know where I am?
[It seems someone's gotten lost.]

As far as what's around me... It's really dark. Like, Dark Field dark, only I can kind of see things in the light of my D-terminal.
I tried launching a fireball at the sky before to find out if anyone could see it, but... no luck. This was easier when I had a map.
no subject
Babe, are you sure you aren't like, buried under the rubble?
...
What did you pass on the way out of the city?
I was sending people from the party to the West out of the city towards Fuji since you can't really miss it.
no subject
Then I got on the train, and after I was on the train, I got off at the third stop to stretch my legs... and...
...And that was yesterday or so, I think? It's a little hard to keep track of time and I didn't think to look at the clock earlier.
On the bright side, you don't have to take a trip back to the city!
no subject
I'll figure it out though. No one left behind, right?
I'm Roze, by the way. Give me a second...
[ She leans back, frowning at her D-Terminal, shakes it, mourns her maintained lack of technical understanding and goes back to typing. ]
Do these things have a little radar function? Like GPS?
I figure maybe we can link up? There's gotta be a way to pinpoint a digital location.
I mean I don't do tech much. I can barely handle my blu-ray, but this thing is supposed to keep us connected.
no subject
Well... not meet, I guess, but you know what I mean.
As far as radar functions go... Let me poke at it for a minute. This is really more Rin's thing, though...
[After a few moments, it seems he's managed to turn on video but not much else. Sure enough it's pitch-dark around him.]
...I don't think this is what I needed.
no subject
Aw. Cuter than I expected. But you're right. Not really helping us. Still, more comforting not seeing you pinned under a pillar and delusional.
So what's the last part of the city that you passed on your way out? The park? Palette Town? That'll give me a better bead on your location, buttercup.
no subject
[A sudden dawning look of realization. THE GEARS HAVE FINISHED TURNING.]
For Roze. That's you! [And then, a sudden pause, before he laughs awkwardly.]
So we were working together, and I missed you by accident. That's a crazy coincidence... Well, it's good to meet you now!
no subject
[ She laughs, grateful for the moment of levity, shaking her head and rolling her eyes skyward. ]
Lets see if I can find the maps on here. Because if you didn't make it to Fuji and went on. Hm...one second.
[ She sniffs, purses her lips and pokes around at her buttons, video flicking on and off, static crackling and eventually she's back. ]
Alright...I've got nothin'. I'm a 25 year old woman dealing with an 18 year old child's D-Terminal. I saved nothing relevant to anything on here. We're gonna have to find a way to orient. You have a partner with you? Can it fly at all?
no subject
[While she pokes at her D-Terminal Ed takes stock of his situation. Yep. Still dark, still no clue where the GPS is at, but at least my cloak is in good condition! (Despite being a bit beat up... It is his favorite traveling cloak after all.)]
As far as partners go, I have Ryudamon and Guilmon with me. Guilmon can digivolve to Kyubimon who jumps high, and Taomon who can sort of fly but is too small to hold us both... And Ryudamon hasn't gone past Growlmon, who's tall but kind of not maneuverable.
[He scratches his head for a moment.]
I guess maybe Taomon could fly straight up until she gets to a place where she can see?
no subject
[ She frowns, shaking her head slowly. ] I really don't like risking anyone for a half-baked plan that might not change anything. [ A sigh, tongue poking the inside of her cheek as she thinks. ]
Alright, you rode one of the lines, yeah? Because you're not on the main island...I don't know a place like that. I'll just...I'll go back and trace your path.
no subject
[After a moment, he gives a short double-nod, as if to say 'that is that.']
Yeah, that'll definitely work out! I'll see you soon!
no subject
No matter what, I'm comin' to get you. [ She stares at the screen, expression suddenly very serious. ]
I shouldn't have missed you.
no subject
You don't have to worry. I'll be alright--this isn't exactly the first time I've done something like this. If something happens I can take care of myself. So... it's fine.
Don't worry. I'll be right here so you can find me.
no subject
Of course. I'll message you when I'm at the terminals and can show you what I'm looking at. Be safe.
no subject
Alright! I'll make sure to hang out around here and not get into any trouble. It's a promise.
no subject
See you soon! [ She smiles, kisses the screen and kills the feed. ]
no subject
Was she flirting with you, Master? How interesting! I've never seen flirting before..!
GAH!!! R-Ryudamon, that--!! [Thank goodness the feed is off, as an awkward conversation is about to ensue.]
N-now isn't the time! We need to find the track!
[Well. In a bit, anyways.]

She argued and barked and demanded and loomed, but none of it really got any answers. They were simply too busy to immediately remember faces. They did insist, however, that if Ed had been on the Trailmon lines and not made it to Folder, he had gotten off somewhere between it. So she got on the line, and headed in, falling asleep on the ride and only waking when it was announced they were arriving at the first refueling point.
She was watching the land pass her by when she finally flipped open her terminal, worn to the bone. ]
Hey hey. Good morning. Or evening or whatever it is now. You there? [ She asked, yawning widely and scrubbing at her eyes with the heel of her free hand. She looked a haggard mess, hair bunched up on one side from falling asleep, creases in her cheek. ]
I'm comin' up on the first stop. Do you know how many you hand and when you got off?
no subject
[Rather than answer immediately he just leans forward, clearly worried. Then he answers.]
Um... I got off on the third stop. It was really dark--actually it's still really dark.
Are you okay? You look tired...
no subject
I don't have any of my things. I haven't actually, uh...had a chance to clean up or change. I'm still in the dress I wore to the dance. Or what's left of it. I've been more concerned with helping the stragglers off the continent.
no subject
I'd appreciate the pickup. If I even knew which direction to go in to get to the Trailmon, I should be able to figure things out from there... but even then, it's always nice to have company, and you seem like a really good person!
S-sorry about losing all your clothes in an outfit that's not really built for this stuff, though. That can be really rough--but it's amazing that you kept on helping even despite it. [That meant she could probably run in heels! An incredible feat, to be sure.]
no subject
Hm. I'm an alright person. I wouldn't exactly consider myself all that good. I'm pretty selfish sometimes. [ She tilts her head, eyes flicking back and forth, up and down the screen, inspecting what she could see of Ed. ]
You look like you made it alright though. That's a relief. Some people...hm. Well...Primary Village is going to be busy.
no subject
[He does visibly relax from his momentary determined declaration after a few seconds, though. Ed seems to have been dirtied up and he's not without a couple of scrapes, but outside of an incredibly fluffy mess having been made of his hair (A thing largely indistinguishable from its natural state) he did indeed seem entirely fine.]
I have a little bit of experience with dealing with crisis situations. Ryudamon and Guilmon helped out a lot, too. We stayed together, cleared rubble... you know how it is, right? As for everyone else... [Sigh.]
Yeah. Not everyone was nearly as lucky, I'll bet.
no subject
[ The familiar screech of a Trailmon pulling in for a stop resounds, Roze leaning to look around before shrugging it off. She had no intention of moving more than she had to until she got to Ed. Bone-tired barely scraped the surface of how she felt. ]
I'm glad you and your partners are alright. Julie almost didn't make it. Though she's blaming me for that. Its my fault she can't Digivolve, evidently. [ She smiles fondly, arching a brow and shaking her head, looking up obviously at the digimon sulking somewhere else. ]
no subject
As far as digivolving goes, that's part determination, part feel, and part knowing how to use your energy. With Guilmon, it took a few tries to get to Ultimate the first time... but once I got used to the feeling I was able to get her back again no problem. The same with Ryudamon--I just remembered how it felt when Guilmon turned into Kyubimon, and just did that again only I redirected the energy with this D-stream thingy.
You'll get it before too long, I'm sure. Don't worry.
