[The camera is focused on Kovu, who's sitting on his bed, hunched over with his hands in his lap. He seems to be scowling, but it's hard to tell from this angle. Lopmon's obviously the one holding the D-Terminal, since his voice is loud and clear.]

Free to a good home:
One former lion, young adult, male.

Quite handsome, house trained, prone to acts of aggression but actually sweet and kind, very protective.

Needs hugs on a regular basis.

[Lopmon shouts as Kovu throws a pillow right at his head, bowling him over and sending the D-Terminal flying. The feed clicks off when it hits the ground.]

[That sobers him a little, and he gives an agreeable shake of his head.]

H'no...not particularly.

[Now that he gets a slightly better look at his face though, he gets a flash of recognition.]

Wh-...heh-hey, wait, I remember you. Kovu! And you're his Lopmon right?

[There's so many Lopmon here, it's a bit of a task keeping them straight, but he can definitely recall meeting at least 3 different Lopmon.]

[Kovu side-eyes Lopmon, who seems to shrug, if the movement of the D-Terminal is anything to go by.]

Yeah, he's a lion. How'd you miss that?

[He gives a sheepish chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck.]

Hah'good question...

[Apparently his creature detection powers were out of whack. He's 0 for 2 in identifying lions here. The fact that everyone is humanoid here just adds a layer of difficulty.

He's getting distracted here though, and realizes it this time.]

What's up with Kovu, huh? Anything I can help with?

[Creature adventurer tendencies and just wanting to be helpful aside, Kovu also helped him out when he was looking for his brother. He wouldn't forget that in a hurry.]

[Lopmon's out in the hall when he answers this time.]

Kovu's been having a lot of bad stuff happen, even before the city got leveled. I think he just really needs people to talk to, but all he's got are me and Strabimon.

[His expression turns sympathetic.]

Aww, poor guy. That sounds pretty lonely...

[Then he smiles.]

Well, hey! I can be a listening ear, if he wants. Hah'or if he just wants somebody to talk to him, I can do that too.

[He's really good at talking. ...But he's a pretty accomplished listener as well.]

I dunno if he's got anything he wants to talk about, but I but someone talking to him will help a lot.
