[The camera is focused on Kovu, who's sitting on his bed, hunched over with his hands in his lap. He seems to be scowling, but it's hard to tell from this angle. Lopmon's obviously the one holding the D-Terminal, since his voice is loud and clear.]

Free to a good home:
One former lion, young adult, male.

Quite handsome, house trained, prone to acts of aggression but actually sweet and kind, very protective.

Needs hugs on a regular basis.

[Lopmon shouts as Kovu throws a pillow right at his head, bowling him over and sending the D-Terminal flying. The feed clicks off when it hits the ground.]

When Tony gets grumpy. I found that arguing with him makes him happier.

[When Lopmon answers, he's out on the hallway.]

I don't know how to cheer him up. He was fine for a while after he saw you last time, but since we got here all he's been doing is moping around. It got worse when we found out Squall went back home.

[Lopmon tilts his head.]

Huh. Wonder what that's been like. [Because different worlds and all.

Meanwhile, someone else is concentrated on what's really important.]

[Lopmon frowns.]

Okay yeah I am. But he won't quit moping! I tried to cheer him up, so I wanna see if somebody else can do better.

Well, why is he moping? Do you know?

[OK, Kit can't help but giggle a little at the flung pillow, but settles down quickly since Kovu obviously isn't in the mood for it. She remembers Hollyleaf talking about him, and right now, he looks like he needs a friend.]

That sounds kinda like my friend Panthro from back home. Well, except for young, handsome, and lion parts. Panthro's a panther, not a lion, and he's not too young either.

But he is grumpy a lot of the time, even though he's actually nice underneath.

Kovu's usually not such a sourpuss.

It's kinda been a rough month for everybody, yeah. But things'll get better.

[He's chuckling when he answers; can't beat an ad like that.]

[He looks up a little in cheerful thought.]

Well, I don't know that a lion'd do too well in a home. H'they're supposed to be out on the Savannah livin' free and in the wild.

[He snickers, casting a glance briefly over his shoulder, before looking back at the screen.]

H'but it sounds like you've got a creature with a problem. Anyway I can help?

Does he look happy to you?

[Kovu's eyes are looking almost right at the camera.]

Lopmon...

[That sobers him a little, and he gives an agreeable shake of his head.]

H'no...not particularly.

[Now that he gets a slightly better look at his face though, he gets a flash of recognition.]

Wh-...heh-hey, wait, I remember you. Kovu! And you're his Lopmon right?

[There's so many Lopmon here, it's a bit of a task keeping them straight, but he can definitely recall meeting at least 3 different Lopmon.]

Yeah, he's being a grump and I'm tired of dealing with him.

[Another pillow flies Lopmon's way, but this time he dodges...which also results in the reply being cut off right in the middle of the camera flipping all over the place.]
