[The camera is focused on Kovu, who's sitting on his bed, hunched over with his hands in his lap. He seems to be scowling, but it's hard to tell from this angle. Lopmon's obviously the one holding the D-Terminal, since his voice is loud and clear.]

[Lopmon shouts as Kovu throws a pillow right at his head, bowling him over and sending the D-Terminal flying. The feed clicks off when it hits the ground.]

Yeah, he's being a grump and I'm tired of dealing with him.

[Another pillow flies Lopmon's way, but this time he dodges...which also results in the reply being cut off right in the middle of the camera flipping all over the place.]

[ but um. camera... you know it's generally not a good idea to throw stuff when people are talking. 8T ]

He's been like this for a month, and nothing I say is helping any.

Did he say why?

[Lopmon swallows. Sora's the only one around, other than Nala, who'd ever seen Scar.]

He...got a scar over his left eye. Y'know...just like...his.

So what? Doesn't change who he is on the inside.

[He's out in the hallway the next time he answers.]

Kovu's having a lotta trouble getting that. He's scared that he's gonna start acting different now.

[ Sora shakes his head. no, he doesn't know Kovu too well, but he seems like a good guy. ]

If he hasn't already, then there's a good chance that he's definitely just overreacting. Since he's scared of it, I think that's also a good sign.

Why can't he see that?

I don't know. Kinda wish there was something I could do to help make him see it, though.

Wanna come talk to him? Maybe if you're actually here he'll get the point.

...Especially since you know what Scar was like.

He doesn't wanna talk to his partners, but maybe he'll talk to some of you guys. I'm trying to get him to meet people.

[Lopmon opens the door and lets Sora in. Kovu's still sitting on the bed, looking...not much different from how he did an hour ago.]

[One corner of Kovu's lip pulls up. How many people did Lopmon get to come over, anyway?
