Sixth Scar [Video]
[The camera is focused on Kovu, who's sitting on his bed, hunched over with his hands in his lap. He seems to be scowling, but it's hard to tell from this angle. Lopmon's obviously the one holding the D-Terminal, since his voice is loud and clear.]
Free to a good home:
One former lion, young adult, male.
Quite handsome, house trained, prone to acts of aggression but actually sweet and kind, very protective.
Needs hugs on a regular basis.
[Lopmon shouts as Kovu throws a pillow right at his head, bowling him over and sending the D-Terminal flying. The feed clicks off when it hits the ground.]

'Sides, I probly would've talked to him before now, but I haven't seen him around anywhere. Hollyleaf mentioned him back when I first got here a couple months ago, and I've kinda been wanting to meet him.

[Well, that wasn't exactly true, as Hollyleaf had told her a little more than that, but that was the only parts that were important at the moment, so Kit didn't feel bad about fibbing a bit.]
Besides, I figure us cats gotta stick together, ya know? Even if we're not all from the same world.

Neither is Panthro. Or my friend Duo that I met here. Panthro's grumpy most of the time, like I said, and Duo can be kind of a jerk sometimes without really meaning it, but once you get to know them they're both pretty nice.
'Sides, Kovu seems to need a friend, and I can be friendly enough for the both of us.

[The feed clicks off on Kit's end.
A short time later, Lopmon sees Kit approaching their door, toting a small basket. Upon examination, Lopmon will notice that the basket contains two chocolate bars, a little bag of beef jerky, a folded brown scarf, and a little beanbag toy elephant.]
Hi, Lopmon. I brought Kovu some stuff that I thought might help him feel better. I hope that's OK?
[Kit indicates the basket and its contents. Thinking nobody liked you would be a lot harder when you had physical evidence to the contrary, or so Kit hoped.]

[Kovu's just sitting on the bed, looking just as pathetic as he did when Lopmon made the network post.]

He rolls his eyes and lets out a sigh.]

I saw Lopmon's message and decided that I'd come down and try to help cheer you up.

[Kit comes around in front of him and offers him the basket of goodies.]
I figured it'd be harder for you keep thinking that nobody likes you or wants to do nice things for you if you had evidence otherwise right in front of you. There's some beef jerky, 'cause you're a lion and I thought you might like it, some chocolate 'cause it's yummy, plus a scarf and little toy elephant.
