[The camera is focused on Kovu, who's sitting on his bed, hunched over with his hands in his lap. He seems to be scowling, but it's hard to tell from this angle. Lopmon's obviously the one holding the D-Terminal, since his voice is loud and clear.]

Quite handsome, house trained, prone to acts of aggression but actually sweet and kind, very protective.

[Lopmon shouts as Kovu throws a pillow right at his head, bowling him over and sending the D-Terminal flying. The feed clicks off when it hits the ground.]

Well, if you wanna try, we're just in his room in HospiTown. I don't think he's gonna talk using the D-Terminal.

OK. I'll get some stuff together and come over. What room are you guys in?

F3 010. Got it. OK, I'll be right there.

[The feed clicks off on Kit's end.

A short time later, Lopmon sees Kit approaching their door, toting a small basket. Upon examination, Lopmon will notice that the basket contains two chocolate bars, a little bag of beef jerky, a folded brown scarf, and a little beanbag toy elephant.]

Hi, Lopmon. I brought Kovu some stuff that I thought might help him feel better. I hope that's OK?

[Kit indicates the basket and its contents. Thinking nobody liked you would be a lot harder when you had physical evidence to the contrary, or so Kit hoped.]

Yeah, that's fine.

[Kovu's just sitting on the bed, looking just as pathetic as he did when Lopmon made the network post.]

[Kit knocks on the door to announce her presence before peeking in.]

Kovu?

[...Does he even know this kid? Who did Lopmon ask to come over?

He rolls his eyes and lets out a sigh.]

...Come in.

[alley_kit]

[Once invited, Kit comes in and heads over to where Kovu is moping, toting her little basket of stuff.]

My name's Wily-Kit. But you can just call me Kit, if you wanna; everybody does.

I saw Lopmon's message and decided that I'd come down and try to help cheer you up.

[Lopmon backs away as Kovu shoots a glare at him, trying his best to look innocent.]

Well, you're here now, so you might as well stick around.

OK. Oh, and I brought you some stuff too!

[Kit comes around in front of him and offers him the basket of goodies.]

I figured it'd be harder for you keep thinking that nobody likes you or wants to do nice things for you if you had evidence otherwise right in front of you. There's some beef jerky, 'cause you're a lion and I thought you might like it, some chocolate 'cause it's yummy, plus a scarf and little toy elephant.
