[This is Duo all curled up in his bathroom. So many videos of the people he knows being turned into animals or machines. ESPECIALLY MACHINES. They all look like mobile suits, and he's just going to stay inside and away from everyone. He does have one thing to say....]

[He gulps and narrows his eyes at the feed before he presses his forehead to his knees.]

[Duo doesn't take deep breaths. He's not a deep breaths kind of person. If anything, he just seems to try and curl in more on himself.]

Alright I'll get you started. What's something that you always wanted to do at home that you couldn't do? Something fun.

[Duo actually has to think about it for a second. Being a kid on the streets meant he was too busy trying to live rather than have fun. Of course, learning to be a good pick pocket was fun, and so was learning to pick locks. Solo made it fun. And then talking to Sister and Father had been fun. But they would never let him take stuff like he use to do.]

...I always wanted to take something big. Sister and Father were against stealing, though.

The only sister around is me, and Big Sister Jinx thinks that sounds like fun. Now you just gotta find something you want bad enough to take the risk. Remember just because we can't die here doesn't mean we can't be locked up.

Duo's eyes go wide before he ducks out of view. It's true. Father and Sister aren't here anymore. They're gone and they won't come back. Ever. Even if he does go back to the colony. He'd be back in that Alliance cell, and Sister and Father would still be dead.

Duo is quiet...and if it isn't for the fact that the camera is on with a view of the bathroom floor, one might think he hung up.]
