(As promised, on the 13th Takato made his first few batches of bread as per the orders most of the people requested -specifically, the larger orders that had been requested. Where was Guilmon? Probably somewhere around. Today however, the screen shows him back at the same area he'd been at last week with apron on, but not the hat -or the flour.)

Hi, everyone! Happy Valentine's Day -or Hearts & Hooves Day- to everyone who celebrates and doesn't celebrate the holiday. If you requested some bread shaped in some way, or with a particular Digimon's face, I made some batches yesterday and made sure they stayed fresh even though they're a day old. Newer ones are being made right now, so come on over!

I'm on F5, Room 008 or if you'd prefer not to go that high up I'll try and send Guilmon down to the first floor so you can pick up your orders. It's okay if you didn't get to order last week; I'll still bake bread for anyone who wants it!

(Much like the time he made the initial offer, Takato signs off with a smile but holds up a heart-shaped loaf of bread!)

Hi, Takato. Thanks for inviting us. [she returns the smile, then sniffs the air appreciatively] Mmm. It smells good.

Ha, of course! You're always welcome to come over. (Takato lightly pets Nima for a moment, his reply of 'Thanks!' heard a moment later before he led the way into the kitchen, two decent sized loaves of bread that were shaped like Nima's head on the counter.)

I hope you like them...! One's got peanut butter filling inside, and the other has jelly.

Oh, they're cute! See, Nima? [she picks up one and holds it so that her partner can see.]

Very accurate, Takato. You're very good at this.

What's...peanut butter?

Hehe, thanks Nima.

(Wow, her world doesn't have peanut butter. Guilmon would be devastated if he found out.) Not really sure what it is exactly, but it's very good, goes great with jelly or bread of any kind and is rumored to stick to the roof of your mouth but I don't believe that.

[Yup, no peanut butter.] Sounds...interesting.

(Wait, no jelly either?) And really good! So's jelly, though I prefer the kind mixed with strawberries. There's different types like grape or just regular jelly without specific fruits! Try one, and I think you'll be surprised.

[Well, there is jelly but Takato probably wouldn't recognize some of the fruits used to make it.] ...Okay.

[Jinora looks at one of the Nima breads, wondering how to cut into it or if she even wants to. It does look really cute...]

(Takato had actually thought ahead, once seeing how delicious the breads turned out, and held up what appeared to be a picture of both breads for Jinora to take.)

It's okay. I'm sure Nima's hungry just waiting, and this way you'll always have it with you after today!

It's like you read my mind. [she smiles as she takes the picture from him] Which one do you want, Nima?

Hmm...why don't we try the peanut butter one?

All right. [Jinora cuts into the bread, cutting out two pieces big enough for herself and her partner.] Did you want any, Takato?

(Takato blushes out of slight embarrassment, as his stomach answers for him with a light growl of confirmation. Apparently, he started work without eating breakfast that morning.)

Ahhh...eheh, sure! Why not? I guess I could try some.

[bookbender]

[Jinora giggles, then quickly stifles her laughter behind her hand before cutting off another piece and handing it to him.] Here you are.

This isn't bad, Takato.

[Jinora takes a bite out of her piece] This is pretty good! I think I like peanut butter.

Thanks! If you want more Nima, just let me know. (Takato takes a bite and laughs softly, already used to bread and fillings.)

Really? That's great. I've always got some peanut butter on hand since it's Guilmon's favorite. Jelly too, if I ever decide to mix things up for him.

So...you mix peanut butter and jelly together?

Uh...yeah, I do. Most people back in my world do, but it's not a requirement. Peanut butter and jelly just taste even better when they're together.

Huh. I wonder why that is?

[thebiggestdreamer]

You wanna give it a try and find out?

(Takato moves to cut a decent-sized piece of the Nima bread filled with jelly, and then does the same with another piece of the loaf filled with peanut butter before handing both pieces to Jinora for her to taste.)

It's okay...! I promise you'll enjoy it.

[she accepts both pieces, looking at them dubiously] Do I...eat them at the same time?

Yeah, you eat them at the same time! It's alright.

(Of course, he doesn't expect her to shove them right in...that'd be more Terriermon's style.)

[Still uncertain of what to do, exactly, Jinora puts the two pieces together then takes a small bite. After chewing for a little bit her eyes light up]

Mmm!

...Do you like it?

(Takato can't help but feel a little hopeful. Enjoying peanut butter and jelly -separately- was one thing. Together? It could be something completely different.)

I do! [she nods] It's really good! Here, Nima. Try it.[Jinora bends down and offers a bite to the Leormon.]

That is pretty good. A little sticky though. [she smacks her lips, working her tongue like she's trying to get the peanut butter off of the roof of her mouth.]

(Takato laughs a bit at Nima's attempt and smiles before moving toward the fridge to retrieve some milk, which he pours for the Digimon to try.)

[Nima laps up the milk gratefully.] Thanks. That's much better.

Ha, no problem! (Takato turns toward Jinora, suddenly feeling...emotions he didn't think he'd feel again.

He's getting nervous.)

Ahhh...I-I'm glad you enjoyed your Valentine's present...if you wanna make sure it lasts a few days, I can wrap it b-back up for you...
