[ Zack has been in the city for about an hour or so, getting his bearings and talking to this... Digimon of his. It's all really weird and he obviously wasn't expecting this when he died, but hey... if the world needs saving, they should call on a hero, right?

He seems to be fiddling with the D-Terminal when the video feed turns on, stopping only when Dorumon speaks up, ]

Zack?

Huh? What's up?

You were going to ask the network something, weren't you?

Oh, yeah, of course! [ he smiles at the screen, only slightly less enthusiastic than he normally would be. He should have asked earlier, but he had to catch up with all of this digital nonsense first. Kind of threw him off his game, ] Hey there, my name is Zack and I have a couple questions. [ He holds up his index finger, ] First off, I'm looking for a guy named Cloud. Blonde spiky hair, about this tall [ moves his hand just at his shoulder for emphasis, ] wearing a uniform like mine. [ minus the bullet holes. ] And Cloud? If you can see this, give me a call. [ it's a longshot, but he may as well try. ]

Second question, I'm in apartment F2 002 I guess? [ He looks to Dorumon for confirmation, and the digimon nods, ] Anyone else shacking up there? We're probably gonna head over later to check it out.

[ Zack is silent for a moment as he tries to think, ] Pretty sure that's it for now, yeah. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated, though.

I'm sure they'll be waiting with bated breath.

I-- Hey! [ and the feed turns off. ]

[The video feed clicks on to reveal Coronamon patiently operating the D-Terminal. Once he is certain that it is ready to go, he passes it off to Luke.]

It should be all ready for you to talk now.

[Luke now has his face closer to the screen than is probably necessary, staring at it curiously.] So this thing can really allow me to...talk to people all over the world all at once? [Wow. Call him an idiot (he would probably only argue your point a little), but Luke was expecting something that could amplify his voice, like a megaphone on a much grander scale. Instead he was talking into a a little box. Could people actually hear him? He thought he was done being surprised by technology when he first flew in an airship.] Well, if this is working--

Of course it's working. Why wouldn't it work? I set it up for you, didn't i?

[He smiles sheepishly, scratching at the back of his head.] This world is totally unusual to me. And I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling that way! But I'm not exactly good with technology even by my own standards. And this place is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I could barely even figure this little thing out.

Actually, you couldn't even do that. I did it for you.

[There's a bit of juggling and then the screen is adjusted to try to squeeze in the face of a rather excited looking 11 year old boy and a blue digimon that many will recognize by now as Veemon.]

Hey, new Chosen and digimon. It's Daisuke Motomiya and Veemon. From what Koushirou said in that message, it sounds like you guys could use some more experience and all around awesomeness around here and I am just the guy for the job! Veemon and I have got your back no matter what and we'll even help you become as awesome as we are.

[Daisuke gives a reassuring thumbs up to the screen. Veemon simply nods enthusiastically in agreement. The boy then turns to his partner.]

So what do you think? Should we go back and play with Culumon, find ourselves a soccer ball, or go set up Fort Daisuke in the Miracles District.

Daisuke. I thought you promised you weren't going to do that. Just because you have the whole place to yourself doesn't mean you can take the whole building over.

Sure it does. You just don't like the name because we didn't name it Veemon Palace.

But you said you'd think about it.

[At this point it might seem that the two have forgotten they are on the network, but then Daisuke sighs, dropping his head in defeat and looks back at the camera.]

We'll get back to you guys on the name. I think Veemon and I should find that soccer ball first instead.

[Yo, look it's a video of an adorable little Dracomon with his face all up in the D-Terminal. There's a weird metal helmet sitting lopsided on his head and it tilts and clangs about while he moves, giggling, in front of the camera. It gets to be a bit excessive until someone off-screen raps a knuckle against the helmet.]

Hey, Emergency Food. Did you get it on?

I told you that's not my name! [All he gets is a soft chuckle in response.]

Alright, alright. Turn it over here. [Dracomon puffs out his cheeks but does it anyway revealing… A pretty lackluster looking guy smoking a cigarette on the last ends of its life.] You sure this thing won't steal my soul?

That's a pretty dumb question. [It's said cheerily enough that Baroona kind of chuckles, breathing out some smoke as he speaks.]

I've been walking around awhile and I still don't really get what's going on. I explained it to you… There's a lot of stuff I haven't seen [LIKE TALKING DRAGONS] so it can get pretty confusing. [A beat.] I heard people talking on this thing if they needed help. I think I need some. [He digs into his pocket for a minute before taking out some take-out restaurant's menu, written all in Japanese.] Can anyone read this?

… That's what you wanted to ask? Yeah. You're pretty stupid, aren't you? [Baroona lights up another cigarette.] ...I could shorten your name to 'Food'.
