[The feed starts off with Luke this time. He's getting better at this thing! He's in his room and looking contemplative. He knows what he wants to say...but how to say things is always the hard part.]

So, obviously we've got a big battle coming up. [Yeah, that was stupid, great start Luke]I just...know there are a lot of people here who have never done anything like this before. And apparently the digimon are meant for this sort of thing, but they've also been waiting for us. So if we all just got here, most of them have probably never actually fought themselves before, right?

I think maybe we should all try to train together at least a little bit while we still have the chance? So everyone has at least some experience under their belt. The digimon will probably be doing most of the work, I guess, but even they could probably benefit from some sparring, right?

Yeah right, I don't need to train. I'm ready to fight now!

But have you ever fought anything like Beemon before? They looked a lot [stronger] bigger than you.

S-so what?

[It is seriously not a good sign when Luke is the one talking sense into you, Coronamon.

Luke sighs and turns back to the camera. His serious expression turns to more of a smile.] Well, a little bit of training always helps my pre-battle nerves, so I guess I'll be doing so anyway, if anyone wants in.

[As much as she hates fighting, she knows there's no avoiding this. With the impending attack, things were bound to happen that no one could control, whether they liked it or not.

And while she wanted to keep Lopmon safe...she also knew that, if they didn't prepare, he could get hurt far worse than she could imagine.

It definitely won't hurt. Even if you don't want to fight [since, by the look of her, she almost definitely doesn't want to fight] it'll help if you're at least a little prepared. You know, in case you can't avoid it.

I was thinking of the park. There's plenty of space and it's right near the meeting hall, which seems to be our unofficial base of operations at this point.

What'd you have in mind for this training? Like, the digimon sparring with each other?

Well I'm going to be doing some sword training, personally. I think I could really use the practice, it's been a while. [He THINKS it's been a while, anyway. He's not really sure how much time passed between his last battle and arriving here, but it feels like it was a long time.]

But for the digimon, yeah, it seems like sparring against each other would be most helpful.

Lunamon however seems to be sensing her uncertainty a pipes up, surprising Namine.]

Come join us, then! The more who come the better, I think. And it can help a lot just to feel more prepared for something like this.

[Not that he thinks they can actually get everyone even remotely prepared for the scale of what's coming in the time they have available. But THAT wouldn't be a reassuring thing to say.]

I'll be heading over to the park by the meeting hall soon. I guess the most important thing to bring along would be your digimon partner. But if you have a weapon of choice, that couldn't hurt either.

And I'm out of practice. Considering I wanna go out and look for the guy who went missing, I could use some training before I do.

[Yeah that earns a pretty huge grin from Luke.] We could probably use the enthusiasm! Stop by the park, if you'd like.

I guess training won't hurt. Veemon and I didn't actually get a chance to train our first time in the Digital World. Digimon just have natural instincts for this stuff.

I just wouldn't over train, that can be just bad as not training at all. Actually it might be worse because then they might not have enough energy to fight.

That's a good point. [And one he probably should have thought of. Damn.] Still, it seems better to let them get some experience then just sit around waiting...

[contemplative pause] They draw a lot of energy from food, right? Maybe we should all pool any extra food we have together, so there's a supply for them to easily recharge once the fighting starts. It seems like we have a pretty clear strength disadvantage, so just outlasting the Beemon is probably going to be our best option.

[Though you would no better than him so, you know, feel free to correct him if he's wrong]

[And now he's opening the door to address Keramon. Admittedly it's a surprise to him that they would be interested.] O...k. Well, I'm probably heading out soon if you...want to join me?

[If there's a small part of Luke that hopes they decline his offer, well...nobody's perfect.]
