Hey, hm...  is anyone else having pro'lems with their partners? Daichi seemed okay when he got here; I mean he was yellin' and flailin' around but that's better then this!

[She turns the view over to a lump of blankets]

He's been sleepin' forever! But every hour or so he jerks awake and makes funny noises... and I think he's scared of me still. I tried sleeping with him but he just shoved me off!

[Her voice softens]

Floramon make some of the best vegetarian food!

[Leormon is sitting up on her haunches, holding a cup carefully in her huge paws and sipping... and occasionally lapping with her tongue]

Yeah? Okay. [Sip!]

Oh hey, it's not bad!

[Floramon looks like a proud mother as everyone tastes her tea. Hibiki follows the other two's example and takes a sip from his own cup. He smiles and gives his partner a thumbs up.]

Thank you, Leormon, boys.

[She drains the rest before hopping up on the bed with the boys and... flopping half on Hibiki]

Okay, nap time!

Hey! Leormon that's rude!

[Hibiki laughs and uses the hand not holding his tea to rub behind Leormon's ears.]

Well, she doesn't lack for enthusiasm.

Hibiki is your friend so he's my friend too! [She rubs her head against Hibiki's hand. Daichi just laughs and sighs, drinking more tea]

Good, Hibiki can use more friends.

[Hibiki smiles and keeps petting Leormon.]

Daichi, we have the same friends.

[Hibiki just doesn't spend as much time with them, okay, god.]

Yeah, but most of them don't have 2 inch claws.

[Hibiki takes a long sip of his tea, while Floramon looks on happily.]

You coming up here, Flora?

[She looks surprised for a moment when he leaves off the '-mon', but then smiles lightly and pulls herself up onto the bed without another word.]

You know, when I daydreamed of having two girls over for a sleepover this wasn't what I had in mind.

[Hibiki laughs.]

What, you mean I wasn't invited in the dream?

[He's just purposefully avoiding the joke Daichi was making, but he turns a little bit red anyways. Goddammit, not a joke he should be making, bad Hibiki.]

[Daichi turns a little red himself but is still grinning]

Awww Hibiki don't be greedy! If you want me to get you a girlfriend you should just ask!

[Floramon plucks the cup with the last bits of Hibiki's tea out of his hand and sets it on the bedside table.]

[Daichi laughs, though that lingering blush is still there]

We've been having sleepovers since we were little, it's not like it's a big deal.

[Hibiki nods.]

I practically live at his house back home.

[He stretches his arms out above his head and yawns. He's pretty sure he hasn't slept more than 8 hours in the past 5 days.]

[Daichi flops on the otherside of Hibiki]

...I think I can sleep now.

[Hibiki subtly shifts over to share Daichi's pillow.]

Haven't been sleeping much either?

Yeah... Like, I know we're... okay here. Sorta. But I don't FEEL it yet.

[Hibiki has a moment of silence before he nods.]

I can't stop thinking about what happened.

Me too... While everything was going on we didn't really have time to.

[He scoots so his back is against Hibiki's, pressing back into him]

We don't know WHY it's happening... it's not like in comics where if you beat all the bosses things go back to normal like nothing happened. Hell, this 'world's collapsing' thing might be part of it!

[The human contact is surprisingly comforting, and Hibiki relaxes a little. Floramon snuggles quietly into his stomach.]

Yeah... Before, I was just trying to keep going but now... It's like there's enough time to breathe. And I just can't stop going over everything in my head.

[He sighs softly.]

Even though we're safe right now... It feels like everything's broken.
