006- Accidental Broadcast [video]

[Today's broadcast is brought to you by Shepard's D-Terminal... But she's not on the screen. Nor is Monodramon. Instead, it's shaky footage taken from eye level, and it very rapidly becomes apparent that it's battle footage. From Shepard's helmet.]

[Of the first 7 and a half minutes of this. (Spoilers for the end of Mass Effect 2! Those who don't want to watch all 7 minutes can get the gist from the first thirty seconds and a quick glance at 6:10.)]

[Why? Well. Shepard figured out how to transfer files from her helmet's eyepiece to her D-Terminal, and determined that clip dangerously classified and disturbing enough to flat up delete, rather than risk anyone stumbling upon it.]

[And Monodramon has just broadcast it to the entire network by mistake.]

There's a creature in my world know as a Hollow, appearing as monsters of many different shapes and sizes who wear bone white masks over their face. They consume the souls of both the living and dead to sate their constant hunger and gain more power. Once they get to a certain level of strength, they start eating other Hollows to increase their strength to join the ranks of the Menos and evolve to even greater strengths that are unheard of in the majority of their kind.

In fact, if the Hollows ever banded together into an army of any sort, they would be far more dangerous than they currently are. The organization that I formerly belonged to was tasked to fight them, but even they would be in trouble if that sort of thing occurred. In fact, if even around ten of the highest rank of Meno, the Vasto Lordes, ever banded together and attacked that organization, my former comrades would be completely annihilated and nothing would stop the Hollows from eating every soul they could get their hands on.

[Somehow this is all said calmly with almost a smile on his face, like he's talking about the weather or an interesting story he heard about instead of monsters that eat people and could potentially destroy the world.]
