[It's Kyouko on the D-Terminal this time, and she's sitting on the foot of her bed in her apartment. Labramon is curled up snoozing next to her, nose pressed against against her hip. Kyouko seems to be ignoring her for now]
We've been here a few days now, but I still feel like there's much to learn about this world and its inhabitants, regardless of what Labramon and Izumi-kun have told me. In an effort to gather as much information as possible, I have a request, for all of you.
Could you tell me what your digimon partner's name is? And to all of those partners, could you tell me a little bit about yourselves? What is your species like? Where did you live before coming to the city? Do. . . you require some sort of special diet?

I'd like to learn as much as I can about you, so I'd appreciate swift, accurate responses.

Well, 'cause Lucemon Chaos Mode's one of the Demon Lords! I mean, they don't gotta be mean, but they're all arrogant and prideful, 'cause it's in their nature.

Ooo, Digimon who're strong and represent negative emotions! ...So the legend goes. I dunno, I mean, I hear there're Beelzemon around that don't go eating everything in sight, so maybe not all of 'em are bad.
It's s'pposed to a tale told after we hatch, something to scare the little ones, don't be too greedy or Barbamon'll make you his servent! ...Like that. Haven't seen 'em myself, but that doesn't mean I don't believe it!

Yeah, every digimon knows about 'em! Kinda wanna see 'em myself. Even if they're scary. Hard enough to find a Mega that can stay digivolved for a long time.

Uh-huh! Some can't even stay at the Rookie level. And some are capable of the Champion level! It requires energy, food, strength... And if you have a partner it's easier. So they say.

Hmmm... Possible, I think. But real hard. Some feral Digimon are, but I think it's like, they give in to the primal urges or something and it's easier.

You bring up feral digimon. Do not all digimon live in cities and towns?

No, not all. Some do. Before this, some of us partners lived out in the wild, I'm sure of it. 'nd some who even do like to go out and explore, fight.

A lotta digimon are. It's in our code to wanna get better and evolve -- digivolve and go farther. Or ya know, hehe, we've all been waitin' our whole lives for you Chosen to get here. It any wonder we're excited?

Well... I mean, we can live a long long time. We don't really...die of age. When I heard you humans did that, I got real confused. And even when we die, we turn back into eggs.
