Greetings, everyone! It is I, the Prince of All Cosmos, and I have another question for you.

[Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm. The Prince leans back. Given the background of the video, he's lounging around in front of the meeting hall.]

You will have to excuse my ignorance, for though I have made attempts to study humans, the longer I stay here, the more I realize that I actually know very little.

But, I am sure you have noticed that there has been much talk of "birthdays" recently. Would anyone happen to be willing to explain to me what exactly a "birthday" is, and why it is so important?

For humans, it is the day we are "born" and we celebrate it with everybody ... because its fun I guess ...

... and I think it is also because we'd just like to celebrate because we're happy to be born?

What do you do at birthdays?

Well, we spend them with family and sometimes ... with someone special. Like a girlfriend ... or boyfriend. [ Looking at you, Wally. ]

We have parties, cake and just have fun!

You don't have a birthday ... do you, Prince?

[ He wasn't really ... human, right? Do you they have birthdays? Or maybe something similar in case ... they weren't given 'birth to' per se. ]

No, I do not think so. That is to say, we do not keep track of such things.

But ... don't you have any parties or celebrations at all?

Valentines ... or even Christmas?

Oh, we certainly celebrate those holidays! It is difficult not to get into the spirit of things when so many of the humans on Earth are doing it. You know, so many people, so much pink all at once, all around the world...

But birthdays by definition are not celebrated by all humans all over the world in a very similar timespan! I suppose it makes sense that we never paid much attention to it before.

Pink everywhere ... I suppose you could be talking about Valentines ... so you had Valentines? I think that is great. That is my favorite holiday actually.

Well, even if you didn't have it where you're from I still hope you will celebrate mine with me. My birthday is coming soon you know.
