1st Transmission [Video]

[The screen flickers a bit before static pops up. The static slowly clears until the image of a pair of brown eyes with a purple bandana wrapped around it appears, a few locks of brown hair over the mast. The screen moves in a few directions before beuing oulled back and revealing the full face of the teenage boy holding it.]

Hmm... It looks like I was able to get some kind of video feed working.

[A small bluish-green turtle pops up next to the boy, a yellow ball inside it's plastron and a blue helmet covering the top of it's head.]

Really? That's great Donnie! That means that anyone else with a D-Terminal can see you!

I figured as much Kamemon. Hmm... Now if only I could figure out if this can send a video back to my world. Or at least see if someone can explain to me how the heck I got here and how the heck I got turned into a human.

Why? You don't like being a human? Sooo... What were you before?

[Sighs] As I tried to explain to you before, I was a turtle like you... well sort of anyways. But now I'm human and I ended up being sent into some weird world that is nothing like New York, and I have no way of figuring out how to get home! It's just too confusing!

[The screen shakes a bit due to Donnie freaking out, causing the D-Terminal to shake a bit. It quickly settles back down once Kamemon steadie's Donnie's arms]

Whoa, whoa Donnie, chill! Freaking out is just going to mess you up.. Just take a deep breath Donnie, deep breath.

[The screen shows Donnie taking a huge deep breath before his facial features relax.]

Okay, okay, feeling calm now. Still confused, but calm.

There you go! Sorry guys, Donnie can... over-react sometimes. But don;t worry, he's not a bad guy... usually.

Well no... It's a long story. To make it as short as I can, my three brothers and I were normal turtles until the man who bought us got hit with this alien chemical. He got turned into a giant rat and my brothers and I became more human. Since a giant rat and four talking turtles would freak everyone out, we hid in the sewers.

...You live with a giant rat? What's a rat?

I'll tell you later, and yes, he's my father... At least he has been since he bought my brothers and me. But it's okay, we have electricity and everything, so the sewers aren't to bad.

Yeah I guess that doesn't sound so bad. Stinks you had to go into hiding though. I mean...it's not like rats are bad animals. That's just a stigma. A stereotype you know?

But hey! You're here now! And you can go wherever you want free as a bird. Heh, like a turtle dove.

[He sounded a lot like Mikey, kind of made Donnie miss him... No, he couldn't worry now. His brothers would be fine without him, he'd work fast to get back to them.]

That is true, it is nice to have some freedom from outside the sewers. We normally can only go out at night unless it's an emergency.

Like saving that April girl that you keep talking about?

[Blushing every shade of red now] N-no! She... She;s not my girlfriend! SHe's just a friend that my brothers and I saved from some alien robots who kidnapped her dad, and she just so happens to be a girl!

N-No! She's pretty and smart and the most amazing girl in the entire world, but... Wait, that didn't come out right!

Well.. Umm... I mean she's pretty and all, and I may kind of... sort of like her... Just sort of... But...

I can honestly say I have never endangered anyone.

[Sighs] Yeah, I guess that's what happens when your trying to save people. At the very least I stopped Metalhead, the robot, before my brothers got seriously hurt.

...Really Donnie, your world is weird.

Geez, thanks a lot Kamemon, I could say the same thing to you.

At this point, I'm not convinced there are any worlds out there that aren't weird.

My world was just fine till it merged with another world.
